Congrats on the new house. For travelers, I cannot stress how helpful it is to put an Air-tag or tile into every piece of your luggage, including carry-ons. You can tell the people at the help desk where exactly your luggage is if it is lost. They're also great to throw one under the floor mat of your car/truck and it will remind you where you parked and if it is stolen, you can tell the police where to find it.

You realize one call to the bank would have resolved the money issue, including but not limited to reactivating the card, doing a cash advance wire, Seriously...Additionally, you get replacement cards, ALL financial institutions send cards 30-60 days in advance . Also, when you called the financial institution to put a travel/fraud alert on the "cards," they would have pointed out that your cards were about to expire. Something is not adding up...

Connor called capital one and was on the phone with 3 separate people! They don't change cash withdrawal limit on credit cards (at least on our credit card), and the debit card we brought with us expired. We tried our best!

Everything not adding up as debit cards about to expire are replaced in advance. Also overstaying in a foreign country? Cc is capital one… but they can afford a house in HI 🎉

Didn't grow up with a dishwasher(us kids were the dishwashers and dryers). Not until married at 32 years old, did I ever use a dishwasher. Know how you are feeling! Enjoy! Don't forget to put the cleaning stuff in the dishwasher on a regular basis.
