Culture has to be respected. There is always a good reason why our ancestors stipulated certain rules for each occasion. It's good to see your family respect their culture.

So sad to see Joy leaving your home. She has been a good source of inspiration for many in the village. Invest in a generator and portable solar chargers that will at least allow u and your mom to upload video's when your electricity goes out which happens too often.

The African culture is very different from the western. In my culture it’s life as usual, people move around as they like. A few family members hang around, but it depends on what they have to do. My condolences again for your loss Davy.

Africa is big! In each country, there are several tribes. Expect different cultures. And things have changed so much because time is money...look at the economies. Anyway, it is the first time for me to hear of such a culture and my country is not Kenya.

🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏽 Hi Davy & Congrats Mum, I respect Culture & All , but in my life's search of understanding of few religious traditions superstitions and wivestales, I found, That we are not under that Bondage anymore, if a person is a believer in Christ, one begins to understand all Christ really did for us! He set us free!! And if we are going to obey the Law , and traditions , we have to obey all 600 , not just one or two .Its Livitical Law, traditions, superstitions, or Christ and what he did for us Period!!🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️ yes Joyce , Congrats Mum is a Beautiful person in & out I really hope to meet her and all of you one day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️ Great video as usual! Much love to you all!

Respect to the culture and traditions. It sure gives you enough time to grief. Davy this comes from a great place and no offense! Surely you should have put the melon and the camera down or one of the two to go get the cow than calling Mong'ina all the way from where she was doing her chores for you to just observe her take the cow and tie it somewhere just before the thorn got you! House chores by themselves are tiring!!!!
