As a Foreigner I am reluctant to be critical of Filipino officials but I have to say how incredibly inept are they are! I was about to cancel my trip earlier this week because of 24 hour rule. Jennifer tip lang sa mga kababayan. You can trigger for the barcodes to switch over to a QR code. Log out and log back in lang po sa link that they provide sa step 3 and it should convert after several tries. We just landed kagabi and nakuha na namin ang bar code 3 hours before departure, tatlo kami. Log out and then click on the link again. Try this several times and it should work. Once you get the barcode ang bilis po ng pag process nila sa Manila. Good luck mga kabayan.

Great news and a relief. It would be even better if they extended the final process. You have to be in the airport 3 hrs before your flight so the hour before that you will be driving. Therfore the only time you can complete stage 3 is while your checking in standing in a queue with probably no wifi.

Hi Terri, thank you for the update, it seems much less complicated, but the problem is there is the delay in getting the RT-PCR test result 2-3 days due to a lot of people getting tested. If you have it done within 48 hours before your flight there is a possibility you wont get the result before your flight. I hope BOQ would go back to 2-3 days test result. Thank you again.

I just arrived in Cebu this morning from LAX. But arrived Manila last night. I wasn't able to register under that 24 hr timeline when I left to go to airport in states. Whoever is implementing that travel requirements in pinas, are most likely never experienced long hours of flight without any idea of the hassle and stress it gives to travelers coming from a 24 to 32 or more hours of flight including layover, etc. They probably have travelled to only short trips, with exemptions as they pass through secret doors upon arrival.

Sorry Jennifer wasn’t the old way in April 3 days prior to departure when you could register instead of 2 days? Also the rt-pcr test used to be 48 hours prior to departure and the antigen test was 24 hours prior to departure. So with the new change you can do antigen test 48 hours prior to departure? Just wondering. Looks like this new bar code is more complicated than the old QR code method. Also the old QR code have you more time to register and instant if applied on a timely basis and no wait time for any codes.

No, antigen test must be taken 24 hours before departure still. BoQ is saying you can register ‘within’ 48 hours before your departure. So once you have the results of your covid test, that’s the time you can register which is ‘within’ the 48 hour mark. I hope it helps.

I was able to fill out form 3 days prior to departure late in April and add test result when I had it ready a day before departure. Cutting the time to 2 days before departure is still making it somewhat inconvenient for travelers. But we shall see how the process works hopefully better till we no longer need it.

You only register to OHP, once you have your test results ready. In my experience I travelled twice and used OHP, I registered less than 24 hrs before my departure. It only takes at least 10 min to register

@@davewright9313 that is a good question. The second time I flew via PAL, at the airline counter, they did not ask for my OHP, only my vax card and test results. It depends on the airline counter of different airlines if they ask for your OHP. When you arrive in the Philippines and you don’t have OHP, they can assist you there to register at OHP before you are screened at BOQ. There are lots of old folks that I’ve seen at NAIA that don’t have OHP when they arrive, and are assisted by the coast guard or personnel to register for OHP. Hope and pray that the site would not be down. So far it hasn’t yet

Hi Jennifer, awaiting flight now at London Heathrow to philippines 5th May. All went smooth at security. Asked proof of vaccination, Rt pcr or antigen result, proof of vaccine, health insurance and One Health Pass ( part 1 of 2) all went smooth. Land in philippines 6th May. Just take your time viewer's with the OHP application, it can be stressful but watch Jennifer's vlog
