Miyu Tomita is however in Overlord II, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?, Rising of the Shield Hero, KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!, Made in Abyss, and more. Date A Live isn't as cheeky as DxD, but they are both part of the harem anime subgenre. There are some voice actors who also are singers, one of the more famous ones IMHO being Megumi Hayashibara, who's been in the Anime industry since the 80s and is still active. She also trained as a nurse.

@@carlosyee4988 spoiler (and I’m a little distracted so I may butcher this a little bit) if you’ve seen S3, then you know how Origami became down bad for Shido. In the first timeline Shido saved Origami from the spirit, but was unable to save her parents. Origami said she’d leave all her feelings with Shido, but she would take revenge for her parents against the spirits. When they reunited in high school she remembered what Shido did for her and became down bad for him. Later, when she lost all hope and decided to become a spirit herself and to go back in time to deal with the spirit that killed her parents herself, she learned that it was she, who had just accidentally killed her parents, was the one that had killed then all along - which led to her inversion. In the new timeline he saved her parents (who would die naturally later anyway) and saved her from her inversion, which led to a different kind of down bad.

Date a live was one of the first harem animes i've watched and still one of the best i ve seen so far. It's not really like many other harems that don't really have a story or a good reason behind why the girls like the boy. Despite it's apearence as a "cheeky" anime, it is indeed quite tame as you've said and actually pretty wholesome sometimes

sweet ARMS is a group consisting of 4 female voice actors who all are part of the DATE A LIVE. Two of them are part of the main cast while the other two are supporting characters. As for the 4th Season, sweet ARMS didn't sung for the Opening but instead sung for the Ending. Nomizu Iori sung most of the Ending songs and is also one of the female voice actors who is part of said sweet ARMS group. She voices the small blue haired bunny girl. For the last Opening it's Tomita Miyu who sung the song but isn't casted for a role in the Anime. She's eventually voiced Iino from Kaguya-sama for your information. Another for your information. So far all 4 seasons got a different Studio animating the Anime. xD

Date a live is one of those animes that is hard to fully explain, you have to watch it to understand it I tried to explain it to my friend but he didn’t understand me because it is a anime that is so complex but ones you watch it it all makes sense or read the light novel; I will say it’s one of the best heram animes in my opinion is a very light anime with quite a bit of comedy, a very good story detailing each spirit and later on explaining what is the origin of this spirits but as far as I’m aware that hasn’t been touched on very well in the anime, I haven’t watched season 5 yet so I’m not sure what’s in there but going based of the light novel is very detailed, openings are bangers, has a decent amount of sci-fi and action so people can definitely enjoy that, each season until season 4 is mainly about spirits and sealing them with the exception of kurumi in season 1 which was the 3 spirit to be introduced that shido couldn’t seal i won’t go into details with that, unfortunately if you like insist well semi insist because shido and kotori aren’t blood related siblings kotori and shido have to kiss at one point, if you are a Lolicon you’re in luck because almost all the spirits are under 18; jokes aside I really love this anime probably my second favorite anime almost number one just because my number one is pure nostalgia for me; I would recommend it if you want a light romance and harem anime unlike something that is pure romance and harem like the quintessential quintuplets.

The first three openings were done by sweet ARMS which formed for the opening song of an anime about girls and guns, that's where the band name comes from. The last opening is performed by Miyu Tomita, OveR is actually the name of the song. Many people were upset because sweet ARMS weren't doing the last one, but I think this is the best opening so far, and both music and visuals indicate that the show is _not_ always light hearted.

Date a Live is my favorite anime/light novel (even with all it's flaws) and I'm glad to see u reacting to the openings! If u consider reacting to the series, expect fanservice as it is a harem anime, but also expect a great story with characters u will fall in love with. Plot is basically(shown in ep. 1).. these girls that are called Spirits appear and the MC has to make them fall in love with him so he can seal their powers away(so they're no longer a threat to humanity). It's an enjoyable anime, can't wait for next season!

OP's 1-3 were done by Sweet ARMS, the 4th was done by Miyu Tomita who IS a voice actress though not in Date a Live. No idea why they switched out Sweet ARMS for the last season but I love all them, I think the 4th is my favourite with how the fast beat and the vocals just hit so hard on the chorus and it goes great with the video, but the way the girls from Sweet ARMS sing and harmonize with each other is just *chefs kiss*

G.O.T games first introduction to date a live and more importantly best girl kurumi (The girl with the clocks and gun). Date a live I would say is light-hearted but gradually takes a really serious tone. Especially during season 4 it gets pretty dark. if there's one thing you must know about date a live is that everyone and me in the community loves kurumi tokisaki (The girl with the clocks and gun). Fun fact: Kurumi tokisaki was actually the first character to be designed for date a live.

It's a romcom, but it's definitely a lot more deeper, if you continue watching it. 5th season is expected to come out next year. To put it simply, this series is pretty much what you can call a love letter to dating sims and visual novels. The beginning of the series seems to be one of those typical harem series, but as you continue watching, you eventually find that there's a much deeper plot going on to the point you'll be able to pick up certain clues and hints that might make you scream "how tf did I not notice that??" when you rewatch the series from the beginning.

the reason why this show looks to you like highschool DXD is because they are both what you call "harem anime", harem anime are very often comedies that centers on a single male protaganist that is surrounded by females who all want him for one reason or another. there could be action or drama mixed in as well but for the most part the point is the funny situations the protaganist find himeself in due to him being surrounded by women. there are also reverse harem anime with a single female surrounded by males. if you want a good recommandation go for the classic Ranma 1\2, this is the show that invented the genre and it is funny as hell and also has absolute banger of OP's so wink wink

DAL is an underestimated show. Each girl gets an ongoing Chara, the further the story progresses. Shidou, the main-boy, too - he gets story. But not deep in the Anime (S3Ep12 = one complete volume in one episode) And the Origin of the Story gets a core, a character that makes you love or hate like the end of Attack on Titan. Date A Live - the idea came from Dead or alive - can be heard in Op1 Date A Live: The concept. A normal meets children with problems & talents (problems, their fears & suffering as well as their powers). You meet a life & that can lead in different directions like what you lose / what you get - was the meeting good? The anime shows fan service, but there are so many thoughts about what someone is suffering from & what to do about it. The music and the songs underline the deepness of the LN (Light Novel). The light novel went from 2011 to 2020. It has good 50 volumes with all the content of main & side stories. Anime S1 2013; Game 1; S2 2014; Game 2 & 3; Film 2015; S3 2019; Game 4; S4 2022; DAB; S5 ?2024? DAB = Date A Bullet (2 episodes) should be watched directly after S4 end, so that this loose adaptation gets context. DAL now has more than 50Songs together. Besides the 4 seasons, each game has an Opening & Ending = so there are 10 OP s & EDs. TV version of a song goes by default 90sec =1:30min. But there is a full version, WORTHWHILE, read it with Lyric, if there are any. The text gives the action by playing the opening or ending EVEN MORE DEPTH.
