So some of the songs in this video got blocked by KZbin, but I managed to edit them out! So when you hear the sound being weird when music should be playing, it's just how it sounds when KZbin edits out copyrighted music! 🥰

just to clear things up a little: the reason why txt got hate for being bts’ little brother group was because people felt like they were privileged and the only reason they were getting success was bc they were “riding off of bts’ coat tails”, so while some of the hate did come from armys it also came from everyone else

I agree. BigHit (now Hype) was a small company and BTS made them big. So Txt didn't have the same magic as BTS did that's why most people - and especially from army - hated them because they thought that they only got famous because they are from the same company. Of course that's ridiculous. Txt members are not only hardworking but maybe even more because of that stigma. I remember one of the Txt members said somewhere that they saw mushrooms in one of their old training rooms

2019 was hell for txt I was army at that time , some armys started being insecure cause they thought after txt debut bighit will ignore BTS or that bighit is using BTS money to debut txt so many people called txt leeches ( which some people still call them till now ) but there were also armys who supported and defended txt Also txt hate train was not driven by only armys those who hated BTS already started to hate txt since it was easier to bull¥ rookie group with no solid fanbase. When txt was announced to delay their first cb again and again so many people were making fun of them saying " they couldn't handle being BTS little brother" or made fun of their health The hype around debut completely 🎲 after their delay in comeback it was harder to even reach 20k views in their KZbin channel but slowly they started to grow and have their own solid fanbase I feel really proud that these boys have grown so much and now have their own fanbase who are supporting them entirely even though bighit barely do anything to promote txt
@ashurasama4 ай бұрын
I was still in ARMY spaces at the time and what I saw was a lot of fear based on what was happening to senior groups at big3 agencies : when they debuted a new group, older acts got less promo and just got enough support to keep milking their fanbase. I found that fear very irrational because BigHit relied on BTS so much for revenue, and simply needed another group to keep the company afloat long term - everyone thought BTS's popularity would inevitably falter when they started to enlist (since it had happened to every other boy group before them).
@calamityy994 ай бұрын
I think something that’s worth pointing out is that nowadays kpop groups don’t have set positions but it feels like companies use that excuse to not train their idols properly in any of them and just debut them as soon as possible. Meanwhile, TXT debuted without set positions because each member truly excelled in all of them.

I love this guide so much, it gives the exact context needed to have a bigger appreciate for TXT and their journey. I’m also glad you’re reacting to it in parts, as that means you can really take your time to take everything in and make comments without having to stress about the video being too long. For the next parts of the guide there are timestamps you can skip to if you want to avoid spoilers in one of the sections, but I’d recommend watching them as they aren’t too long and a lot of them are snippets of covers or dance breaks so they won’t spoil too much (it’s really up to you though ☺️💙)

Thank you for reacting to the guide but I want to clarify something that you misunderstood, the hate that TXT received was from other fandoms of other companies, not from the BTS fandom(army),In fact, armys supported TXT's debut a lot, only a minimal percentage for what is the bulk of that fandom, they said stupid things,and brainless people are everywhere, I repeat, the majority of that fandom was very happy that another group debuted in BH,because finally BTS would have "little brothers" within the company and would be more of a "family"
@Hronika-kw5pl4 ай бұрын
I am sorry but as a predebut moa who witnessed and felt all the hardships and every hate they got together with them I couldn't disagree with you more. Although, yes the hate came from everyone the main instigators and haters were Army. I will never forget all the hate comments, death threats and "disband" hashtags they got especially during their hiatus before the first comeback Miniscule amount of armies were positive, it was rare. What's the situation now I don't know because i've been out of the fandom and kpop in general for 2 years so I can't say but I can see that there is certainly more appreciation towards txt especially from people who only recently discovered kpop and have no idea that this ever happened.
@WWH_JIN-KIB_HUENINGKAI4 ай бұрын
@@Hronika-kw5pl As a predebut Moa, what I wrote is because many of us many armys did support campaigns for TXT, even without even being sure who would debut, we had an idea that they would be Soobin and Kai,but nothing more and many armys sent gifts to the boys, because they knew it was difficult for them, I tell you this with knowledge of the facts because I have been in the fandom since 2014,That's also why I wrote that only a small percentage did stupid things because we are clear that the BTS fandom is huge, but the boys received more hate from other fandoms,even Kai couldn't use his name because another fandom made hate campaigns against him just for having the same name as the other idol, something totally ridiculous,I'm not trying to ignore what happened but the vast majority at that time was support for them.
@gabrielagaitan4154 ай бұрын
@@Hronika-kw5pli’m a predebut moa as well as an army since 2015 and while there were armys hating on them the majority WAS supportive and excited for them, following their teasers and tweeting support for the members. i saw the hate that txt got and a lot of it was from other fandoms about stupid things like kai’s own name. even now armys love txt and support them, if you weren’t on army twt then you didn’t see the support and only saw the hate comments that blew up

Ah alright! Still sad that they got the hate, but good that they got some support from an established fanbase! 🥰

Honestly I don't get into social media a lot, so the worst comments I saw during those days whenever TXT would post literally anything was by mainly armys sarcastically saying "thank you bts" Just like the guide said, undermining everything txt did just to them being under the same company. But we can always just block those ppl, ik that the majority of armys were supportive of them, and it almost seemed as if every other fandom out there were afraid of TXT's success bc they had the support of army so they all started unfairly and unnecessarily hating on them since predebut

I'm sure some ARMY's were toxic, because there sadly are quite some toxic ARMY's, but it wasn't only those that threw hate at TXT. BTS has a ton of haters and that hate automatically transfered over to TXT as well. I became MOA through BTS. I saw BTS' interaction with TXT and decided to check out TXT's music. BTS will always be my ultimate group, they have saved my life multiple times. But TXT is a close second. I love Enhypen (Did you watch I-Land? If not, I recommend that highly! I would love to see you react to it, but you could of course do it in your own time too) and Seventeen too and am recently really starting to like Stray Kids as well. I started liking Seventeen (and Enhypen too btw) after watching HYBE x The Game Caterers (highly recommended as well since you like TXT and Enhypen / It's a super funny variety show that has a couple of HYBE groups competing against each other for food X'D) While Seventeen wasn't entirely present there (only 7 or 8 members out of 13 I think), I fell in love with their humor. Immediately found my biases in those episodes too XD Seungkwan and The8. In the song 'Super' I also fell in love with Woozi. 'Super', 'Maestro' and other high tempo songs like 'Hot', 'Clap' and 'Hit' are my personal favorites, but something tells me you might like 'FML', 'Darl+ing', 'Don't Wanna Cry' and maybe even 'God of Music' more. It took a really long time for me to start to appreciate Stray Kids's music because it's just so different to what I'm used to. I still don't like their most popular song 'God's Menu' all that much. I don't even know why ^^' but their other songs, and especially their latest ones, absolute bangers. 'LALALALA', 'Chk Chk Boom', 'Backdoor' and 'Maniac' are my favorites. I hope you will check out BTS some day too. Their discography is very diverse and no skip as well (except for the On version with Sia... that one is a definite skip - we ARMY's try to forget that version even exists XD) Telling you my BTS favorites would make this comment way too long. But please, if you ever check them out, do not start with the all English song trio Dynamite, Butter and Permission to Dance. Because those songs don't showcase what BTS is capable of AT ALL. Those were songs they released to cheer people up during the pandemic. Which they succeeded at and it brought them even more international succes. And they're not bad songs at all, but, trust me, the rest of their discography makes those 3 pale in comparison. If I had to recommend three songs that show how diverse they can get... (I think you once mentioned that you've seen/heard Fake Love already. Or that could have been another reactor... if you haven't seen it, definitely this one too then. It was the song that made me an ARMY) 'Black Swan', 'Boy With Love (ft Halsey)' , 'Run BTS' (dance practice, not to be confused with their variety show or the song 'Run')

It wasn't ARMY who hated TXT. There are a lot of fans who like both groups. It's the people who felt that TXT was getting an easy ride because BTS is their direct senior group. They could also be people who hate BTS and transferred that hate to TXT. Or, they could just be jealous of how successful TXT were at their debut. They really didn't have it easy as trainees, though. The 2 youngest said they were electrocuted by faulty equipment at the company and one of them also at their dorm. Consider that when they debuted, Kai was 16, so they were just kids having to deal with this kind of thing.

Though there were some very toxic and gross armys that I don't even consider people jumping on txt, the main hate train was started by kpop fans who dislike bts and saw txt as a VERY easy target. I checked txt out when they first debuted, and thought they were pretty amazing but their music wasn't my style even though I fell in love with Crown, the dance practice is freaking amazing I have never seen something so clean from a new group in so long. Though when they released "Blue Hour" I started checking them out more. I don't think there any other group I genuinely like other than them and bts. Their music is on another level imo

I did. I also was an army(now I'm just a casual listener and didnt wamt to associate with the shenanigans anymore. But i still supports bts, just not as involved in the fandom). I had to fight a lot of armies. I had to remind those people over and over again, you hating txt will not make bts happy. They would probably be super disappointed and felt guilty if they found out their fans treated their juniors like that. All they replied were "i dont care, they're still leeches". Yes, they were minorities in the fandom, but with the size of the fandom, even that minorities is really big amount of people, that and plus haters of bts that extended their hate to txt.
