The Husky ratcheting screwdriver set is nice. Carry the stubby and leave the longer one in the car.

I have the small blower and it is great for cleaning off the workbench and tools. I think the smaller nozzle it comes with is meant to use as an inflator for things like air mattresses but I haven’t tried it yet.

That blower is my main tool for cleanup. I paid $39 online for it. I picked up a second one for my workshop since I have spare batteries

Ridgid tools are just a shade above Ryobi. They may have "lifetime warranty" but if the tool breaks years later they wont have the parts to fix them. I have a 12" compound miter saw where I have had to fabricate pieces to keep it working such as a throat plate and shrowd stop. These tools have plastic components that are not necessarily wear components. So if/when they break are neigh replaceable. So go ahead and buy a ridgid tool but expect to replace it when it.breaks. And it will eventually break after normal use.

I have had success in Ridgid replacing old tool with new. Only one tool failure in 10 years. Now, batteries fail all the time and no problems getting those replaced.

I've slowly been building my tools up mostly by watching your videos so thanks! At home Depot tonight and they have tons of sales. I was wondering what drill driver you'd suggest? I seen 2 DeWalt kits , one for $99 and $119.

id get the dewalt atomic deals. Atomic line is really a good line to get into. The DCF 850 atomic impact driver is my favorite impact driver

@@ManCaverTools thanks for the response! Didn't think I'd get one and the deals I seen yesterday were about out of stock so I grabbed one. They had the dewalt DCD708 ($120) and the Ryobi PSBDD01K ($89) deals so I just got the Ryobi. I want the DeWaltXR but I'll wait till they have a good package deal on it 🤷

I just snapped up the Ridgid brushless recip saw and oscillating multitool combo kit for $169. That’s less than the recip saw bare tool!

@@ManCaverTools don’t have any Octane series tools but have heard many people not like them except for some of the batteries.

Leave it to Milwaukee to charge premium prices for Brushed combo kits. IDK what they are thinking like we won't notice at that price? The only thing they are doing is selling other brands tools for them when they position themselves this way in the market.

Tti is literally the main brand "on sale" weekly. Its not really a sale, at this point theyre telling you its what their tools are actually worth and when you need them in desperation youll over pay for them at retail price.

If you call that rigid sales a sale. I don't think so. Way overpriced. I'm a Ryobi fan and Ryobi is starting to overprice also. They keep over pricing you might as well go with your top of the line tools for them kind of prices. Ryobi's going to ruin it for everybody more so they're going to ruin it for themselves because people are going to go and buy top notch tools for them kind of prices. Why the heck not right. Something for Ryobi to think about. Quit over pricing things just because you want to look like you're in the pro section.😮 Ryobi prices just keep creeping up and creeping up. People love Ryobi cuz they were cheap and very reliable. Now they're coming out with so many tools too fast and they're quality of tools is going down but prices keep going up. Inflation I guess. Let me know if anybody else feels the same way. Don't get me wrong I still am going to stick with Ryobi cuz I love Ryobi. Always will.😊 Would love to hear your thoughts on what you guys think in the comment section. God bless you all.

Ryobi definitely over priced. Ridgid is priced about right. Especially that jobsote radio for $99. Thats a steal. Ryobi has good prices on a couple of their fans. One is overpriced. Their multitool/oscillating tool is over priced, more expensive than dewalts atomic, thats jus crazy. Their newish HP line, i seen a couple vids ppl using them, not even abusing them, n they went up in smoke. They're def starting at act like they are a prograde tool when they are not. Id still take ridgid over ryobi

Personally for me I will not pay what ryobi is asking for on there new tools. I did the hack and got the fan, and grinder for under 100$ and I think that is a descent deal. Instead of ryobi batteries I use a adapter with my makita batteries.
