I looked at 4 of them on Saturday at my local dealer, and it was not as bad looking as I thought from the pics. I could live with it, except for the video game dashhboard and $50k+ price on a premium GT. They FINALLY put hood struts on it! But I'll keep my 16 GT PP.

Yours is 10X better than a 2024. The Dark Horse is the only one "interesting" but still has the interior for 14 yr olds and a locked ECU. No thanks. If it weren't for the added HP, I don't think the Dark Horse would be any better than a Mach 1, especially considering the extra cost.

Battle the 2024 aren't worth giving up what you already have. You're limited what you can do with the new ones and with the S550s you already have a hell of a build going on with really good horsepower. I'm keeping my 2019 GT procharged, I have it about paid off lol and the work I have done to it wouldn't make sense to buy a new one and start a new build

Sticking with my 19 GT pp1. I personally don't see enough of a difference to justify spending 50k+ for the new gen. With bolt ons, my 19 can make dark horse power for less money. Don't get me wrong, I love the 24s, but Im sticking with the gen 3.

My opinion-the S650 is a 3rd S550 refresh and the most unoriginal Mustang ever produced. Darkhorse - name and emblem stolen from a wine Darkhorse hood decals screams MOPAR Side profile - Camaro Front end & hood vinyl- Dodge charger Read end - Nissan Z Dash screens -corvette C8 wannabe I love me some Ford, but they are pulling wool with this "7th gen" and making a fool out of everyone while raking in the $$$. Tons of BS hype for views.... Consumers need to know the truth. No matter what *you do - Keep it real 🇺🇸

Unless you can get it for 0% APR like your s550 it's not worth it unless you want the clout/views but the s550 is way better. S650 is heavier, currently untunable and tablets on the dash lol

The whole Dash setup looks like a clapped out Honda . Quad exhaust looks like it wants to import wanna be. Should have stayed true to the single exhaust tips. Other then that I like the new body works. . As far as your channel. Yes if you wanna keep making Stang videos. Your going have to jump to the S650 or youll be old news .

For content trade it in for the Dark horse. For personal use keep the S550. I sat in the dark horse at Mustang week and I like the flat bottom steering wheel and the carbon fiber interior trim pieces but everything else I would prefer my Mach 1

Sure, cool tech, different body style, but ultimately, it's the S550 with a duel throttle body and 2 iPads inside. Not too mentions its heavier the S550, don't do it, stay with your car! If you want the tech. Performance is sub par to me for the money. It’s slower than S550 and who knows when tuning is going to be available. A loaded premium with performance package is 62k plus another 10k for the Ford/Whipple kit. Pushing 80k after all said an done. Rather have a Shelby for that money. I think I am going hold off for awhile.

Personally, I always wait a year before buying a new version of an automobile, it gives the engineers time to sort out the bugs, if any. The 24 is growing on me, although my first impressions were not good. I think everyone goes through this, and it's too early for most current owners to jump the gun on a new one. Probably the 24 would appeal to the younger crowd, GenZ more than X'ers or Millennials. Interesting how when you see a car in person vs. photos attitudes can change. Personally, I'm grateful to finally have my 19 back, she's on her 3'rd motor and supercharged vs. Turbo. You can say I had absolutely NO luck with TT.

Keep your white 550. The 650 isn't worthy of a new chassis moniker. It is still an S550. They should have called it new edge or something similar like they did with the SN95 when they updated in 99. The 650 has ugly styling inside and out. The brake caliper option is very nice and about damn time. Seat belt and interior color choices are very welcome. As far as that front, side and back end? Barf! Interior with stupid add on ipad looking dash? Ugly. Steering wheel? Plain as F$%^! Not a fan. I'll be keeping my S550s for a while!

The S550 is way better. Mustangs have always grown on me after I see the new model, but this one is the exact opposite. It’s heavy, slow, and actually pretty damn ugly. The screens on the interior look ridiculous, it looks like they pasted to Samsung tablets on the dash and called it a day. They started catering to the gen Z crowd with all the stupid video game graphics, and the drift brake. I’m definitely sticking with my 2020 GT500. My car looks and performs insane. I’m very disappointed with ford.

I wouldn't trade that GT you have for an S650 - no way in hell unless I wrecked it. Don't do it man, not yet. Wait a year or two for them to work our all issues with a first gen. Just update your head unit with the tablet style and it will complexly change its internal appearance. Just make sure to get one with Car Play and Android Auto,,,,,plenty of vids online for this.

Honestly I dont reckon it is worth the move. The body lines don't do it for me, the inability to tune, the dual throttle body making no sense performance wise, the LCD screens arent "mustang" to me. If you wanted to do something different there is a lot left on the mustang....engine build....RTR widebody....Sequential transmission. Plenty more can be done.

I don’t think the 24 is worth the money. It’s heavier and has basically the same chassis as before. If tech is your priority then the new Stang is your car. If you want performance then S550 will beat the 24 hands down.

It's tough because as a content creator I feel like you're forced to go S650 to keep up with what is relevant, but just as a car enthusiast it's tough to beat your current build. I just can't get with the body style of the S650 yet. Maybe my mind will change with time, but I just think the S550 looks so much better.

If you haven't seen or test driven the new S650 GT or Dark Horse. You might want to give that a try. Pictures or videos isn't the best way to view a new vehicle. I'm a fan of the S550 but the dropping sales numbers show the need for an updated Mustang. Ford has taken The beautiful new 2024 Mustang GT and Dark Horse to the next level both inside and out. My guess is the S650 is the last edition of the Ice Mustang before either going hybrid or full EV after the 2035 model year. We'll likely have a new S650 GT500, but don't expect a new Ice S750 or another new Mustang to be named later with the governments push to end Fossil fuel vehicles..

Imo… I’ve been following you for a few years now. I understand that content may be king but it’s also not everything. If you were able to add a S650 to the table that would be awesome and you could take advantage of the new new while still keeping your absolutely bad a@$ s550 and continuing to build it or just enjoy it. Your car is better, but if content pays for itself with a 2024 it maybe makes sense in your case… but for end users 2024s are currently expensive and slower and untunable so if you’re just a regular joe with a 700 wheel s550, the s650 is a pointless change imo
