Your channel has grown with me, and want to say you may not be crushing it in terms of viral numbers, but you have a legit wholesome community of sick individuals and I think you’re more happy and content with your environment and life in general and it absolutely shows. All that to say keep crushing it in life and I appreciate you.

Hey Garrett I just want you to know how much I enjoy watching your videos, your positive vibe, and just you as a person. It means a lot to see you battling through some of the same struggles I’ve faced in my life. It’s inspiring to see you doing so well and getting better every day. I want to let you know there are a lot of people who look up to you - not just as a great skater but as a person too. I’ve always admired you, whether I saw you on Braille or Andy’s videos. You’re a solid skater, and in my opinion, I enjoy watching you even when you fail and approach things the same way I would, or overcome challenges like I try to. That’s so much more relatable to me than watching someone land everything first try. Much love!

FS half cab over the bar, you got it!
@rivercritter814Ай бұрын
A pole jam would be a cool little side attachment for the other side or center of the box after you get your rail attachment configured and set so you have two options to hit instead of just that one rail attachment
@Nazoreth15 күн бұрын
that back heel was one of the cleanest and most unexpected things ive seen you do on a skateboard in ages. so sick. 10/10. would recommend

love the videos! you never have to apologize for doing what you love to do or cutting back on things for your own safety or interest. i’d gladly watch anything from skating to you cutting the grass, it’s educational and relaxing enough to enjoy regardless of what you’re doing

Dude, you have no idea how stoked I am to have been able to score one of the first obstacles you put out!! AND it's supposed to be delivered on my 30th birthday! 🤘🏻
@jarnesegers9556Ай бұрын
A ledge/hubba for this obstacle would be dope too! I was thinking a ledge in the shape of a roll in. Like a short flat part, a roll into the downpart that transitions into another short flat part. I think it'd be really cool to watch you skate that. It's a different kind of obstacle then the once you normally see in skateparks. Would be sick but I know it's a lot of woodwork 😂

Hey Garrett i met you at a skatepark in Aptos back when I was 12 years old I used to watch your videos all the time and you really inspired me to get better at skating and I did and it made my day when I met you back then you probably don’t remember but I just wanna say it’s cool to see that your still skating and making videos after all this time
@JunkieVomitАй бұрын
Your content has quickly become my favourite for watching while having lunch or breakfast (or if I catch the video at night; a wee can of lager). The skating/snowboarding were my original draw towards your channel as I used to skate (My old knees and big belly bone have pretty much killed it for me now) but the yaps and fabrication etc are all exactly the kind of stuff I'd usually seek out on youtube anyway so you've pretty much transformed into the perfect channel for me. Even the car stuff, I love watching people tinker with cars n stuff too. Possible future idea for the bump: A ledge/out-ledge? Could attach wee poles through the underside to secure it in place an it also gives you more woodworking funtimes. Could even do something like a ledge to down ledge off the end so you can gap the flat right into the ledge. I've said ledge too many times. You're a ledge.
@LockinProfitsАй бұрын
Man, you're making me want to go snowboarding so bad now that it's been 4 years . Also, congrats on selling all your fingerboard objects, I need to scoop one soon

Have you thought about doing a removable ramp on the other side of the bump over bar??? You can do also a straight flat bar for it that also goes down with the removable ramp ❤

@EvanMeeker429Ай бұрын
Ok, you were talking about shipping out those ramps at the beginning and as someone who works at a ups warehouse I personally look at the fragile stickers but by the time it gets to us there is just so much going on and so much to do you don’t always think of it and accidents do happen that can’t be prevented
@KemarrGwinnАй бұрын
I got one for you, bud. I'd love to see a hard flip. Since you're goofy , fs overcrook to fakie on the bar . It might be a new one ?? Thanks for these videos. I love showing them to my boss. You're really doing it out there bro. Keep it up. You're really pushing me to follow some of my skate related dreams since not all of us can make it in the skate world. ❤ you Garrett
@moyeonkimАй бұрын
I’m really happy the old videos are back :)))
@RecklessRussellАй бұрын
I think it would be super cool to do an up rail going up the bump, keep the straight part of the rail maybe extended up another foot and add in a kink as well to add more variety to your rails! Also might be worth looking into doing heavier weighted base plates for any extended rails off the bump so you don’t come into the issues of the rail rattling too much!
@PleezeАй бұрын
Hey Garret! For the next attachment rail, if you do what you talked about with the extendo rail that also goes down the ramp, one cool idea would be to keep the section you jump over (bear trap section) but make it lower than the rest of the of the rail. So that it still provides stability for the rail, but you don't get caught on it when grinding the extendo rail. Another benefit would be that you could do more difficult tricks over that section if it's lower, and maybe build up confidence to try them over the taller rail :D
@AyalatgdАй бұрын
For the media mod gopro case, make sure you have it set to "raw audio". Try playing around with the different raw audio settings. It makes it easier to edit and you might be able to get it to sound closer to what the regular gopro mic sounds like.

Great vid! Audio sounds absolutely fine to me - if you wanted some control over it you should be able to add some EQ depending on what video editor you use. You could probably just boost the high frequencies a little and cut the low end to get rid of the muddyness. Personally I don’t think it’s a problem based on this vid
@13cheatАй бұрын
You need to buy a riding lawnmower that has the vacuum attachment. I have one for my property and it’s really nice to have a way to pick up leaves and pine needles.
@crustydreadАй бұрын
you should also add a fourth mounting hole so you cant get even more variation with rail design

Its not more muffled its just picking up more low end, putting an EQ on the audio track and pulling down the low end would probably work well
@MadTurtАй бұрын
Most audio producers or mixers do this for vocals all the time because microphones tend to pick up the lows alot more then humans naturally hear
@user-tb3ih9lt4fАй бұрын
next video climb up onto the top of the garage, do a 1080 kickflip melon grab into you railing, make sure you land into a dark slide going into the rail, once you get to the end of the rail do a 360 flip into a primo and hold it until you reach the bottom of the hill.
@BroMorris0341Ай бұрын
Awesome vid my brother! Maybe with the "going out with the homies to skate .." idea, you could think about a mini series where you take 1 day a week out to practice those harder trick requests from the members. Could be awesome content and another perk idea for members only (e.g. you still take our member requests for tricks and then the vid of you attempting/completing them goes to the public.). Could be awesome, as you'd still get to skate and practice (solo or with the homies), it would still be like normal vids where you get to skate, you still get an awesome workout in for the day, conquer some of those doubt demons you have all while promoting membership. Just my little spit ball idea 😃

Ollie “kick out” hippie jump. If that makes sense. Or trick through hippie jump if you’re feeling spicy. Go slow and 50 around the angle. Also my vote goes for the shorter extendo/ down rail.
