FINALLY!!! Sluice Gates! We did it! (Sort of)! Timberborn, HARD MODE, S4EP7 (Update 6)

This time, on Timberborn Z! The Z Beavers have FINALLY broken ground on their new technology! The sluice gates! With these new wonderful pieces of engineering brilliance, can they overcome the ridiculous planning of Shadow and survive?! Also, they finally break into Bad Water Rigs! No more dirty Bad Water Pumps for our Beavers! Only the BEST!

Hiya Shadow! You know how to English, no worries! Editor Beaver is a big help, I'm sure. ;) since he makes sure all the people in the back can hear you and all. I also noticed that Editor Beaver is looking out for Plank, so his workload has Doubled. I think this means you should give Editor Beaver some time to go to the dance hall and eat some maple pastries to avoid any labor disputes. ;D. Efficiency isn't everything, more foresters and lumberjacks at 40:00 approximately is Bueno. Those beavers are part of the ancient legacy of beaver-kind just like the builders and haulers. One of the best parts of your videos is hearing you figure out stuff as you go because I learn a LOT and I appreciate it. (I also chat with my beavers so never let anyone tell you that they cannot hear you.) When you know, you know.

It’s fun watching you figure out the sluice gates in real time 😅 One thought I had was at 28:00 maybe blast down a few levels to the side of the dam and add sluice gates with levees on top that are open when contamination is above 1% so the bad water will just flow right on through instead of pooling

Up stream is above, downstream is below. Water flows downstream. 😀 You don't have to check the top box, just let it flow and it will close on badwater.

The forester: I believe it's one forester on a 24 square with 4 choppers? I think it's worth having extra foresters early mid/game anyway, I usually micromanage and chop quickly with extra choppers too.

When you place the sluice and you click on it, it will tell you on the bottom of the box what the downstream water level is, just like the meter does.
