To the people who think tuning ruins ur engine it actually depends how highly you tune your engine and then how hard you work the engine. If plugs, a fancy airfilter and a better grade of oil is your tune up then you have probably slghtly increased longevity.

Bhailog is someone is thinking that it will affect the engine it wont Let me give u an example I have a 2.0L ford endeavour and its a 170bhp engine. Globally the engine can produce 210bhp but when the car came to India the government has detunned the engine to 170bhp for various pollution parameters. So if you get the ca stage 1 tunned they will just unlock it back to 210bhp so no where there is a threat to the engine

No it doesn't affect because rally polo can withstand 150bhp easily exceeding that would affect below 150 it can easily test time. Even Audi uses this method German car are not for namesake they have serious potential.

I would like to add one more point here.... once you get your car remapped and because of some reason your injectors fails, your throttle body fails, your EGR etc fails... you need to get addaptetion done for each of these units... now your car was earlier remapped which essentially remaps your engine equipments right? not all car electricians have the knowledge or required softwares to do proper settings which would match your car. They have a basic understanding of scanners and do basic addaptetion, start/stop car engine equpments. Keep in mind often Car electricians in India are not well so educated... rather most of the car electricians won't even know how to operate a OBD scanner!!! I doubt once you connect the OBD port the scanner will fail/reject the ECM chip all together! One may argue that we dont need to do any addaptetion and the car ECM would eventually learn the new installation but until the ECM relearns, be ready to experience a misfireing and jerkey ride... 😉😉😉

Wheel spin will not show the exact acceleration .. there might be some difference. Wheel spin cause speed to shoot up. It doesnt mean the car is accelerating so fast...🙂

I’m in need of some suggestions. Actually I got my Harrier XZA+ 2022 tuned to Stage1 +…suddenly after putting back ecu the car was not going past 1600 rpm. No matter what, even if the car is in neutral. Initially when I faced the problem the Check Engine Light popped for a few seconds and went off and hasn’t popped back up ever since while car is running. When I put it in Drive the car crawls and no matter how deep I push the accelerator pedal there is no acceleration past 20-25kmph and rpm doesn’t push above 1600rpm. There are no other signs of any issue…except for this when I drive. Have given the car to Tata Service center and they are scratching their heads unable to diagnose the issue.Even they’re OBD tool showed only 4 DTC issues that too memorised.They checked the fuel lining but couldn’t find issues with it, they did check the brake switch but that was also fine. However upon some research I have come to know that the fault may be with the Brake Switch Relay as well which I don’t think they have checked.I have informed them the same. This problem is completely new for the Service Center. Any suggestions are appreciated. Hoping to get my car fixed asap.

No bad to get it remapped for passion but its not recommended. Firstoff engins are manufactured with little extra for longer life. In other words no car manufacturer would extract 90 to 100 percent, doing so the engine die sooner. One thing I must say enjoy the ECU remapping until the car central ASIC is codded on open standard platform. Its like a splash of a finger for the car manufacturers to do proprietary codding and just distroy the aftermarket ECU remapping business...🤭🤭🤭

@@SharkFishSF Yes, Volkswagen, Toyota, Nissan may want to introduce some proprietary feature developed in collaboration of design and development teams which will only work on that preticular brand of cars... usually companies avoide to release the source code or make it open source... that set! the aftermarket remapping software won't be able to read the ECU instructions in order to alter it...

Nice Video mate Your car have the same turbo as GT TDI's before 2016..which came with 105hp.The 108BHP(110PS) GT Variants have a slightly bigger turbo. ....Any plans to upgrade brakes and suspension in future? i also want to remapp my VW Ameo soon....its in the 110hp tune already which have bigger turbo charger .)..but m not too sure if i need the power....btw i drive FAST(Fastest you can do if you are sane xD)...but suspension can't handle much as i am from HImachal so we have lots of curves on the road...and i already feel like i drive my car at its suspension limit xD

it's only available for cars with turbochargers. so the tsi engine or the diesel.

@@keshavmishra8632 not compulsory but Yes, turbocharged engines get more gains. MPi remaps will give like 7-10% gains, which is shitty af. Better to avoid remapping non-turbo cars
