I'm new into the iem, in fact, not totally new, my first pair, was the shure se215 bought a few years back. But these tangzu gate are absolutely magnificent, unbelievable craftsmanship and attention to details, thank you for the review my friend. This is the prototype/pre production unit?. The Production unit fix the female vocal's lean back because of added uppermid and treble, just a little that it make sound more lively less lush then the prototype, also the bass is more textured and extended in the production unit its more flexible and less warm/lush that I miss in prototype but I think it was great re-tuned or fix in Tangzu department in their release. Hope you can try the release product

excellent review and comparisons. this is quite a beautiful set. I have the SA6 OG, SA6 Mk2 & the IE600, so this is probably a pass for me, however, that terrace design is sweet!

Yea, ISN are a very good company that are basically never reviewed. I bought the Isn Neo5 a few months back and they are absolutely killer! One of my favourite sets along side the Mandgird UP. I am now also considering the EST50. If they keep the same tuning as the Neo5 then it seems like a no brainer.

This is a very well- made and intelligent review. However, I think it is a mistake to do a full review on a pre-production unit, when there are obvious differences with the final version. The comparisons and conclusions are not really relevant. Hopefully, you can update this with something that actually provides consumers with info about a product they can actually buy.

almost correct, but its, shhhh-yuan - wu [ shh - yu-uan ] the " shuang " you have been mispronouncing, meants " dual / double " 双 the " xuan ", for these, are "mythical/. mysterious " 玄 not a knock btw, good to learn new things =D Im just surprised, the same specs from other non-chi-fi runs up to 1k mark. base from your earlier reviews, gotten the Performer 5 [ 2nd hand, a steal ] and still awaiting for the Ikko 10hs sapphire mirage, BOTH, which are not so well reviewed [ 30mins worth of scrolling through pages in youtube as well ] any chance for reviewing the portable DAC that performaces better than m15 by. questyle ?

It's always interesting to see a comparison of Chi-Fi with Sennheiser. Two completely different approaches to reach the same goal. Sennheiser relies on material and design and Chi-Fi rely on driver quantity and the blending of driver technology. I only bring it up because I wonder what would happen if a company married the two. What would a tri-brid setup sound like in quality metal housing with 2 or 3 resonator chambers? Moondrop, or Sennheiser, or somebody needs to make this happen. Hell, this is the one time I'd actually encourage a collab. The Moondrop x Sennheiser Woozle Wuzzle (IDK companies have better marketing departments that can work on the name).
