I like the way the bikes feel. I'm with you on them being slower and less rear traction. I feel like that would allow stone to make more realistically scaled tracks and stuff. Would limit the cheesy lines we see during the races.

Jett has proven that. The outdoor tracks in MX Bikes generally need more roughness, and variety of roughness, because that creates opportunity for creative and technical things that riders also do in real life.

@@tiagoreis2906i dont know if i would say they’re better but they’re definitely easier. suspension is more forgiving when casing or overshooting a jump and the speed is really quick. overall though i really like the bikes and they feel good. my only problem is they don’t look how i thought they would in first person. besides that these bikes are great and really fun to do hot laps with

they ride 10x better then the OEM bikes with realistic stuff and instead of a whole team it was just 1 guy

The term a-kit in irl is referring to suspension. A kit suspension is the closest thing non factory riders can get to factory suspension

I keep seeing people say that like the OEM team is some huge organisation. But it's really just 2 people doing the physics and one is more focused on just tires.

Yeah the OEM Team really isn’t as big as it seems. There’s 2-3 guys who do all the actual bike making, then we have a couple modellers and texture artists, a couple project managers, and a boat load of testers. We have a lot of testers because we do a lot of experimental stuff between releases and because we make every bike unique with unique geometry and engine dynos, so they all need to be tested against each other to be sure they’re all reasonably competitive. Afaik the Factory bikes and A-Kit bikes use the same geometry and engine dynos within each class which simplifies bike creation a bit. That’s not to discredit the effort that goes into those bike packs, but it does explain how they were able to put out whole new packs so quickly compared to the OEM Team. Point is they’re different projects with different goals and different design processes so it’s not really fair to compare them apples to apples.
