the comparison between gtx 1050 to amd igpu (that is Vega 7 igpu in 3600g and above) has been out there years ago. the 1050 usually perform 40% to 60% better than Vega igpu simply because it has vram. Any other note on igpu is that handhelds are able to run some high spec games in 60fps, that should make anyone to question more if the igpu on desktop is worth it... because the tech capability is there, but AMD choose not to publish it on PC, which is why I don't see any merit of 7000 series being labeled as 'great performance for igpu' because the price to performance is subpar compared to last gen.
@marioprawirosudiro73013 ай бұрын
@@nickochioneantony9288 The thing is, the 7000 series iGPU isn't really labelled as "great performance for iGPU". Just "great performance for what it is", which is a backup GPU for when you _absolutely_ need one, like when you suddenly lose display and you need to test things out. AMD even marketed it as such - just a simple backup display adapter for when you need it. And considering all that, yeah it's no slouch. Still, there are a LOT of games that can play just fine on typical iGPUs, now, which makes them a solid starting point for a build. The rest of the CPU isn't even sweating for most of the tests, so a $200 AMD 6600 GPU should wake a system right up, with headroom to use even more GPU. Like others have said, you would always have a workable backup solution in place in case the discrete GPU fails, and that's great.

Any plans for testing the AMD Ryzen 9000 series?

bit unrelated but consider using TAA in Forza as it's a weirdly awesome implementation, even better than 4x MSAA in my (1440p) experience. not sure what the performance impact is bug the visuals easily outweigh it imo

I'm curious what kind of performance you'll get with Optimus-type usage. Many of the X870 boards with USB4 only support piping the integrated video over USB4, rather than having a DisplayPort input.

Next video? Ryzen 7000 iGPU vs R5 8500G (radeon 740m)?

It is kinda wild, that my iGPU (Have an 7600) will give me almost the same experience i had with RDR2 when it came out on my old Xbox one. On my 55 inch 4K TV. In 1080p (? :D Or 720.. i do not know without looking.).

I've seen the prices of the 8600G falling a bit, about similar to a 7600. Would like to see how those stack up with a 60/600 tier graphics card. I have a 1650 rn but dead GPU's are always a possibility so that back up is necessary.

Finally he's back to his usual talking speed. Unlike the previous video with nightcore way of talking

Any FSR/DLSS/etc. that isn't framegen will always improve (lower) latency so long as the framerate goes up (FSR 2 / XeSS might LOWER framerates on some GPU's compared to the native resolution though).

Can you please add genshin to your test suite? It's really popular and free so nice to know how it runs on these chips, especially since the people who use them will often have less money (and its free)

I just got one and it's good that it can play some games. I'm having issues with my current PC (5600x + rx 7600), after a lot of troubleshooting I'm just lost. I thought it was the GPU but then got the same problem with a friend's GPU. So i decided to get a whole new platform in case even the gpu is having problems..

I'm interested if the 7600X3D would improve performance with its larger cache

Where's those mendocino APU handheld PC from AYN or ayaneo? It's the same igpu as this i assume. If we can play CP2077 for 250$ that's still a decent choice for some. Because ultra performance FSR at 6" screen won't be that bad

I like my iGPU on the ryzen5 7600 , I just dedicate it to a tv running chrome to watch youtube/netflix etc. from my computer while the 4060 does gaming on my main monitor.

I think the 7800X3D has the worst iGPU since Intel's old ones (before they even made an effort in the GPU market). Its almost literally the same speed and from 2014... But I suspect they want to get a few cents back in from adding the V-Cache...It would feel good to have a genuine RDNA3 or whatever like the other CPUs in the 7000 series, even though I still use my GTX 1070 to tide me over until a new graphics card. (But for a while I wasn't sure it was even going to be stable, since crashes motivated to change my system.)

Not gonna lie, the "Horrible" and "Shocking" metrics for FPS should be mandatory now.

You can everclock the Igpu quite a bit, 2.7GHZ is a common spot but I could get 3 GHZ on my igpu
@pneumonoultramicroscopicsi4065Ай бұрын
Impressive this igpu has rt cores, but considering how weak it is i wonder what's the point of including them? I guess it means you can start rt only games like indiana jones and load the menu, maybe even the map but if you get 5 fps how are these rt cores useful?

I love that they can still game, which isn't ideal but still nice Btw I have like a question about configuarion Right now I have a i5-2500, gonna get a i7-3770 or i7-3770K eventually I'm going to get a GPU for like $50 soon what would you recommend?

thanks for doing video, one issue i'm not clear on is; will 7600 alone (no gpu card) support dx12 or dx11 so we can even load games, even if we only play them at 720p low eye candy.

My mom just uses her computer as an HTPC and is perfectly happy with 4K playback on a Ryzen 3 3200G. These are pretty cool but I would never need an IGP. If my RX 7900 XTX were to fail, I have an RX 6800 XT as a backup card and if that failed, I also have an RX 5700 XT. If that failed, I also have an RX 6600 and an RTX 2060 Super. LOL

Hey man, did you notice any issues with screen flickering, at higher refresh rate while using igpu ? I recently sold my gpu, using igpu atm, r5 7600, dp cable works fine up to 144hz, hdmi doesnt work at all . But as i said dp works only till 144hz, anything above makes it basicly not usable, cause of flickers . I didnt have this issue before. I game some cs2 on it now, 0 issues, crashes etc, with the system . Also this never happened when i had my 7900xt , its just now , all i did was take the gpu out haha .
