I loved this episode, but not as much as what's coming up. The fights were fun, but the characterization was the best. Sugeshita really got established as a monster truck. No-sold a huge sucker punch, then planted the other dude's head, yelling about respecting his boss. You now KNOW what Sugeshita is about. Suo's fight was more entertaining, and the show of what he's capable of was incredible. More than that, we see his desire to teach, to help people grow... but underneath, the dude was clearly PISSED that his opponent thinks it's funny to pick on the weak, unless it's someone HE cares about. Suo wanted to teach him a lesson painfully. At this point, it's abundantly clear what Shishitoren has become. Can't wait to dig in and discover some nuance soon.

I can’t wait for more! Suge is a beast and a power house! His fight was short but to the point! I am looking forward to seeing more of him in the future! Now Suo! Wow! I loved that, it was elegant and planned out in my opinion ! I just picture thats how your encounter was like with the guy in the door way!😂😂😂 Suo holding back from messing his face up with that kick,perfection! That is definitely my favourite character trait of his,wanting people to learn and take something away from the interaction. Even though he could easily beat them!

@@DarkAnimeCorner My actual personal style is more like Sugeshita than it is Suo. Lots of introducing people to hard surfaces.

@DarkAnimeCorner A few times over the last few years, I've had guys get in my face and try to get me to back down over some stupid crap. My reaction is to glance around to find the nearby furnitures, walls, door frames, etc, then smile and maintain eye contact while talking politely. Weirdly, they all got uncomfortable and quickly backed off. Except for the handful of skinny high schoolers. Two of those guys were trying to find a way to threaten me that I cared about, while the third guy tried to hide in his seat and the girls were shouting at them that they were about to get hurt. For half an hour. Weird experience. Like, they suggested that they could complain to my boss and get me fired. I explained that I'd called my boss' wife a dumb bitch to her face earlier that day, and he'd promised me he'd talk to HER about it. They weren't getting me fired, even if I valued that job, which I didn't.
