My medium competition has insane (loose) botton wobble on both sides and a clicky/cracking mouse wheel when scrooling up. I can tap with my finger on the mouse buttons and they hit the shell without activating. One funny thing is the left and right mouse button feel and sound completly different. Its almost like the out in two different switches im not joking. Already opened a support ticket... Unit number 1200ish

You can’t comment if you don’t understand how garbage final mouse as a company is. and now they’re doing a SECOND qc layer, because they found problems in 90% of the mice that were supposed to be shipped. So you should ask yourself this, instead of replying to a guy making a normal human claim, why would final mouse even release a mouse…in which they have to check 2 qc layer rounds…you know what means? It means the Chinese sweat shop they designed the mouse from, was cheap, and their poor labour has caused finalmouse to have generational issues for each drop, because they refuse to choose better manufacturers.

I managed to get a ULX competition size small during the drop. Only thing I'm curious about now, does FinalMouse wait to get all the orders before they start production on the mouse units? Like a modern day Ponz scheme, lol. Cause it took them almost 3 weeks, after the orders, to start the shipping process for the mediums and large. And The size small still hasn't been shipped yet, so best case scenario, it'll be almost 4 weeks before the smalls ship out. I'm just wondering if FM made the mice already, and if so, why take so long to ship it? You would think they would at least start the shipping process the next day from the drop, but I'll give it to them, going over support emails before they start shipping does make sense, but 3 to 4 weeks seems a bit excessive. FM always sell out on every drop so I don't see why they would need too wait for the orders first, before starting production, if this is true. Or maybe they are extremely under staffed in their warehouse? It's less than 10k units though, so idk.

Finalmouse already finished production so it doesn't apply, but drop shipping is similar to what you are suggesting and that isn't a scam or even ethically ambiguous. It's simply one of many selling models.

boardzy, I have a much needed question that needs an answer. I've owned 3 gpx2's, from buying one at release and just recently picking up another. They all have creaking in the bottom of the shell. Is that a known issue? Because I LOVE gpx's but I cant seem to get a copy that doesn't creak after 1 week of use.

I looked it up and found some other people with the issue but havent seen alot, my DEX 2 doesnt creak however

I have a second batch ULX and noticed 2k, 4k, and more recently 8k does not play well in Fortnite, when I do fast flicks it like freezes and stutters out. It must be the game because I never have issues during normal windows use. I know there can be cpu issues because it does require more resources to run that fast but I have a 5900x so it should be fine

Fortnite doesn't work well with 8k, issues with 2k are much less common. If you haven't touched bios settings I can see having issues with a 5900x though

I feel like fortnite has a high polling rate issue rn. Used to never have any issues on 4khz but yesterday I was getting constant stutter and freezing bugs. It would force my fps to drop to 5 fps when moving my camera around but then after like 10 seconds it goes back to normal. And this was on a xm2w 4k

I think the rubberized grippy coating that is kinda standard on plastic mice (ATK, Endgame Gear, Razer) feels a bit less slippery. So I wouldnt say this is better than 90% of the market

I'm kinda tired ngl. There's so many sub 40g mice out now even with solid shells. Nothing interesting anymore and Idk why they still have holes in the casing anyway. At least with me I only put up with that because it was the only way to get very light weights on mice but now that every mouse is basically a copy paste of each other and the same weight without holes I don't see the point. For anyone here who is turned off of the beast x mice because of boardzys opinion on the slits, I will tell you right now, for me at least, they feel great, they are better than a solid side, your thumb just sort of finds one of the grooves to rest in when not clicking the side buttons. It might be an issue if you are someone who grips their mouse with 1000 pounds of force, but for everyone else it is not as bad as boardzy always makes it out to be and I personally love it. Just keep in mind that you might have to replace the stock cable with a USBC to USBC, that was the one issue that needed fixing for me.

I will try a final mouse one day but I am waiting until their QC becomes better. For now I will probably buy another companies magnesium mouse as a backup since I love the cooling feel of the metal. Complete BS opinion I own and used Beast X Max for several months and ultimately had to ditch it because of so many issues, side grills being one of the main issues which makes the mouse almost impossible to grip for lifts Shifted to Sora v2, then mad r major, atk f1 extreme incoming. @@goochipoochie Lol... I don't know how you are gripping your mouse, it must be completely different from how I grip because I have no issue with that at all. It feels fantastic to me. The only issue I had was I had to replace my cable with a usb c to usb c. Also for whatever reason, in wired mode you can't use the scroll wheel while the mouse is in motion. It works fine in wireless mode though. I would never go back to a plastic mouse though if I had a choice.

I've had that exact issue you mentioned with the wobble / grind sound on the left click on my first batch ULX, that eventually led to the left click squeaking. I've had to RMA it twice now and it works again for 6 months before squeaking again. This would now be the third time I would have to send it in for RMA but honestly at this point it's so disappointing to pay this much and have this terrible build quality
