What disappoints me is some of the chat comments. There was a small group who seemed to be trying to outdo each other in being bitchy rather than offering positive comments. Remember, these are singers who have yet to have their voices honed by years of singing in full performances of opera. I hear a lot of potential and much to enjoy. Boring and mediocre singing by almost everyone. The first contestant couldn't even sing on pitch. These people are just singing some notes to some words, they have no idea what opera is or how to interpret music and text. Poor musicianship and barely any stage presence. Disappointing to say the least.
