Zoe 🇨🇭 Claessens is such a genius!! She's double Europe's champion in title (triple in total), double World vice-champion (in 2022 she missed the gold by 0,01 second), winner of many world cup races... This season alone, she won 2 of the 4 world cup races she competed in, became world vice-champion for the 2nd time in 3 years, kept (yesterday) her title of Europe's champion that she won last year, becoming continent champion for the 3rd time in 4 years & finished 2nd of the olympic's test event. So, 7 races: 3 victories, 5 podiums this season.

So, 2 Swiss 🇨🇭girls on the podium, the same 2 that became yesterday Europe's champion (Zoe Claessens) for the 2nd time in a row and the 3rd time in 4 years, and bronze medallist (Nadine Aeberhard) for the girl who was Under 23 Europe's champion in title till yesterday and so, took a medal already from her 1st season in the elite category... Watch out for those 2 Swiss misses in the Olympics in 2 months...! Yeasterday, in the elite finals alone of the European championships, there were 3 Swiss girls and 4 Swiss guys (on 8 finalists), so, if Switzerland don't take any Olympic medal... that would b a tragedy. They really can hope at least 2 (3 yesterday in the championships).

And the statergy for the French this time is depression. I think they may have a clean sweep in the Mens at least.

Lol, only this? Why not 10 medals out of 6 possible!? 1st of all, yesterday in the European's championships final, there were 4 Swiss guys qualified, 1 of them being the 2022 world champion, the others having won races/medals too. 2nd, in the women's side, the frenchies r far away of being in position to win any medal, contrary to Swiss girls, 3 in the championships' final yesterday, 2 medals, including Zoe Claessens, 3rd time Europe's champion in 4 years, 2 time world vice-champion in 3 years (missing the gold by 0,01 second in 2022), winner of 2 of the world cup races she competed in this season, and so, 2nd of this test event; and Nadine Aeberhard, bronze yesterday, Europe's champion U23 last year, bronze in this test event here. The only clean sweep in bicycle's history in the Olympic's have been made by Switzerland, in MTB in Tokyo 2021; + the silver and the chocolate's medals in the men's side, so, 🥇🥈🥉for the girls and 🥈for the boys, 4/6 medals, 3/3 for women, and almost 5/6 with Schurter finishing 4th but just a few seconds after the bronze, and he was 3rd most of the time; anyway, he said ironically, taking it with philosophy, that he was happy to win the chocolate medal as a Swiss and also cause it was the only olympic medal missing in his collection.

Oh, and anyways, there won't b anymore any clean sweep cause the rules changed, so, in MTB, despite the fact Switzerland won gold, silver and bronze in the women's race of the last Olympic games, and the fact we r still ranked nation n°1 (since many years, in both men and women's sides) of this sport, we have only 2 places for those next Games, and also 2 tickets in BMX, so, logically, it'll b the same for the frenchies, so, no final with 4 Swiss and 3 French like yesterday in the men's final of the European.

When one considers all the great track/facilities France has, this aint one of them. Why would one choose such a visual poor cattle shed?

@@user-fu2tj9cb3k Lol! I dunno, but I like the fact there's a roof. It's the 1st time I see this, and it'll protect them from injuries due to the wet track. There will b anyways injuries, as usual (many hard falls 2 days ago), but if they can at least avoid the ones that rain provokes... it'd b a good thing. And also, as it's Paris that is organizing the Games, although some sports will take place at the other side of France, they had to organize all the competitions possible inside Paris or the nearest possible, so, I guess that explains the choice.
