Journey of the Soul I still don’t know how Bujins were ever META in the first place. They would have been underpowered by TGAgent format standards.

@@frankwest5388 Fluffals had a very rough group, they would've stomped almost every deck in the cup released before 2015. Bujins are a terrible deck by today's standards but 2014 was a very slow format they could thrive in before DUEA and Soul Charge. Also I'm pretty sure Bujin would do fine vs TG Agents.

2 different cross banlist cup? 1 cup where we can find old and balanced decks to see epic and slow duels (Tengu Plant vs Hat or Perfect Circle vs Goat Control...) and 1 degenerate cross master rules where we would see all title candidates (SpellBook, Dragons, Nekroz, Monarch, Pendulum, True Kind Dino, Salamangreat, Orcust etc...)

I think i clicked 0.5 secs after the notification, but man, what a match. I've played with both decks and love them dearly, but I definitely gave pend the upper hand because of the trap. This series was a lot more tense and back and forth than I expected tbh. Sure, going first was still important but when TKDYZ didn't open Diagram + Dino, the boards weren't nearly as unbreakable for Pendulum Magicians. Still kinda sad that Zoo only made 3rd place and Nekroz got kicked out pretty early but they got unlucky, being matched against a deck that counters them super hard twice (True Draco) and the archetype isn't nearly the menace that it used to be compared to the 2017 monstrosities. Considering this was probably the most broken Cross Banlist Cup we ever had, it was a lot less one-sided than expected. One card we can thank for that is Ashe Blossom. Thanks for making this KZbin series possible Lithium, I stopped playing Yugioh over two years ago but was still always watching these videos.

The last duel around 13:00. Why did the conductor not attack? There was no reason not to it allowed the pendulum player to out the conductor next turn before the pendulum. Unless i am missing something especially in a simplified gamestate as it was there is no reason for him not to attack?

Uct pops baby, summon ovi search misc, summon petite use ovi to pop petite to special baby from gy and special misc from grave. Make tornados dragon then you win. Pendulum only has the trap so if they use it before tornado dragon you activate misc if they wait then see previous sentence.

Two finals is not necessary. This does also not happen in a real Baketball, Football or any other tournament. It is a little overcompensation saying "I have never lost but I lose in the Finals so I get to play again. For the rest I love your work.

That's how Double Elimination brackets work. Even at the Grand Finals, if the player that didn't lost during that phase loses in the finals, that causes a bracket reset, which causes practically an instant rematch.

Very nice cross banlist cup. Although, this is the second time your opponent did not use their s/t destruction effectively. It would of been way wiser to keep the cosmic cyclone in hand to banish the trap in the end phase since he knew you had it but you didn't know he had the cyclone. Setting it made absolutely no sense in that scenario. A similar thing happened where he used his destruction on the facedown trap in another match-up that he knew was there rather than responding to its activation. If it was only one time I wouldn't of said anything, but having happened here too, that is a very poor play choice to make multiple times in the cup since it's effectively throwing your out away for no reason at all.

Great year long of the cross ban list cup i can honestly say dont think i could have seen pen magicians being the winners top dog i would have though maybe a choas deck or something or a deck deck constructed like T.K.Y.Z but with the 2020 one i honestly can't wait to see what happens to either the full power or the build of sky stickers what build will you pick of the oops all spell deck a magic the gathering reference cause there is a deck in magix the gathering called oops all spells the just requires you to know how to count to 7 really and be good at solitaire since it play no no actule lands in your deck you just olay spells and creatures's that all act a getting to 7 lands to flip your deck over with a cards effect that says burns your opponent for 20 to max some times 45 damage from a card call goblin char Belcher and sky stickers makes me think of that deck since it plays more than 80 % of its list is lands and only a few creatures that turn to spells but that starts next year on which build of Sky Stricker you will pick for the cross cup ban list
