Need to read the whole EULA and ToS for Anilive and see if theres some hole they left for vtubers to fall into. But the system sounds risky, you give them use of your model, then you stream yourself to the servers, server send motions to client apps

Basically what you do is yours, they wont claim anything. But you have to give them a full license to use your content if they want to use it for the App, probably including promotional materials. According to Article 15, there is no guarantee and they are not to be held liable if anything happens to the App and whatever the User sends. Use at your own risk. Only if they are at fault will they take blame, and will only pay out damage compensation not exceeding the amount User paid them.

edit : this happened a while ago so she is fine now, i only share this to give rough idea about someone who going through kneecap surgery 10:15 my mother going through kneecap surgery because she fell down from slippery floor. when i thought the recovery will be easy like any small surgery, nope, they had to administer medication tablet through anus because my mom keeps throwing up from anesthesia and painkiller after effect. eating becomes so hard for her as well as recovering. now she is okay only sometimes hurt on the knee .

The most likely issue with the copyright strikes is because a number of companies like Capcom will shove that work off onto a third party, who doesn't know who to strike and who not to strike, so they'll just take a shotgun approach to the content, regardless of what is said or done. It's happened with so many times in recent years that it's ridiculous and because it's a third party doing it, both the company who outsourced it and the person getting copyright struck have a whole bunch of hoops to jump through to get it undone.

I kind of want to see the EULA of Anilive now. Because any service that you can upload your stuff in will say what they can do with your stuff. KZbin can use your content, for example. Basically anything you uploaded, you agreed that they are allowed to take than and use it. For necessity part, they need your permission to basically share your content to people because that's the point of these content sharing site. But KZbin had also been using people's content for their own promotions. I know there're art creators who had their video reuploaded as a whole to KZbin's Facebook page as a promotional material for KZbin. That reuploaded blown up while the creator didn't even get credit. So with Anilive, you basically have to give them permission to use your model because that's how they system was set up. What is stopping them from using your model for something else other than your own stream? If you say "they don't own it" then you need to know that you don't need to own the IP itself to use it. You just need to own the rights to use it, which is something that you need to give them in order to use their app to begin with.

As someone who's attempted before and still think about it often, I don't like it when people harass others for using "kms" that way. I don't care if Flipsie was trying to "give her advice", the first glaring problem is that Finana wasn't making a joke. It's a turn of phrase. An expression. It's not literal and it's not intended to be taken as a joke either. It's just someone expressing themselves. Kronii has done this exact same thing on _numerous_ occasions, but Finana gets shit for it just because of association. I don't even like the fish and I'm taking her side here. You know what bothers me even more than someone using "kms" that way? Cyberbullying people to the point of ending themselves just because they said something you don't agree with. Finana's comment doesn't hurt anybody; it's literally directed at herself. Yet people who virtue signal and claim they're spreading "mental health awareness" end up doing far more harm than trivial comments like this ever could. It's insane to me that cyberbullying and harassment both cause major mental distress to thousands of people to the point of people losing their lives, and yet the people who pretend to care about mental health use cyberbullying and harassment as a way to deter others. It's unbelievably hypocritical. And just to clarify, I'm not implying that Flipsie is cyberbullying Finana just because of this comment. I just wish people in general would stop trying to police others. It's not helping in the slightest.

I will say that it's been made clear there are a lot of different perspectives on what Flipsie's original intentions were and Flipsie themselves have stated that they didn't intend it to be in bad faith but I personally simply can't buy that their comment was made as "genuine advice". AniLive being a SOYNY service doesn't bode well for those who've entrusted their livelihoods with a corpo known for having extremely weak cybersecurity practices. Add in the fact one must actually UPLOAD their assets to AniLive servers, and you have a recipe for potentially catastrophic identity theft. And what's to stop Soyny from demanding rights to your assets after using AniLive? I still far safer being a Twitch frog despite the dumb decisions they make.

Dude, the accountability for a simple small mistake done about flippsey, not even some bs big one, shows me how genuine of a good lad and your character - if your in the wrong, you admit it.
