Hi Everyone! This is Sarah! Thank you so much for all the kind words, they really mean a lot 🥰 I did want to clarify a little bit- I did /not/ spend 5k on a singular tie rod. This last year my tire exploded (I was parked, thank god) the left tie rod broke while I was out and I needed to get a tow truck plus the replacement, I went to get it checked over and they said the right tie rod was also about to go (this could have been a fib, I am unsure) so I replaced that, then my car started making a weird wub-wub noise when I reached higher speeds. So I took it into tires plus asking about the breaks, because a trusted car person (ok, ok, my dad lol) said it sounded like a brake issue. so they looked at it and said the brakes looked ok, but I needed 2 new tires (because the year before I had also replaced 1 tired because it shredded. Don't drive on a flat, y'all. Bad idea lol) and there were some tubes and such that were going to need replaced soon, so I was like 'do it. Whatever is there, just fix it.' But then I went home and THE WUBS WERE BACK!! so I took it into the dealership where I bought it (since I was home) and it TURNS OUT that my right break was, like, locking, so it was trying to break while I was on the interstate 🙃 so then I had to ACTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM! So, yeah, I won't be going back to tires plus. It was an expensive lesson to learn, but not one I will repeat. As a side note, what is cash stuffing? lol, I officially feel old😆
@BoredomSetsIn2 ай бұрын
What an inspiration you are. I watched your original episode and could see how upset you were at the prospect of a second job. The fact you found a side hustle in something you love is really inspiring. People are asking about your cash stuffing because you said you’re taking the cash out of the ATM machine. Cash stuffing is where you divide that cash in your hand divide it across your expenses. People are interested in how you’ve made that work for you. Its also called the envelope system. It sounds like its worked brilliantly for you in staying on track. Congratulations on all the progress you made. 🎉

This is the first time in a while that I've disagreed with your Hammer score. Specifically with the emergency fund, she diligently built it up again and again, it's not her fault that emergencies happened. Meanwhile i have 0 debt, 50K's in the bank, but the bank says i dont even qualify for a mortgage for a average priced house cause my income is so "low" (top 30 percentile of income in my country though)... i think that is what people mean when they say money isn't real. My husband is an accountant so every year when we book our MOT (annual car safety check) we check the valuation of the car. We don't want to end up spending more on repairs than the car is worth.
