I don't think they will be impacted. The new rules will apply to new players acquired. You can not change existing contract.

Corection on the Haverts sale. The profit made is is not 17 million but 32 million. This is how it works. You compare the remaining value of the player to the selling price to calculate the profit. Since the 45m has already been amortised, it is not considered when calculating profit because it has already been written off. So the remaining cost of 30m is compared to the revenue of 62m to calculate the profit made
