However, that is not always realistic. If you are looking to sell your land or property in a handsome amount, it's most suitable to wait for the spring. 🥰🥰🥰

What you fail to explain is that Wealthy people invest for return with 'Slush" money. Money they can play with without affecting their life. Regular ppl can't do that. And the psychology of playing with important money causes problems when it comes to investing. Markets dont go straight up or down. Not to mention, by the time the general public hears about a good deal, the big money has already been made by the insiders.That, and the fact Wall Street Investment houses make money on Commission, assures their longevity.

Do you have input for those of us starting late in life due to hard circumstances earlier in life? I'm 50 and these videos scare me, lol though I understand why you make them, for those they CAN benefit... I can't turn back time though, and couldn't have done anything much differently if at all whenI was 20, 30, even 40, if anything, due to health and cirumstance. I'm better now so I want to embrace a positive, responsible, but not Polly-anna/head in the sand attitude about setting myself up for my last years without stress at least (my goal isn't to be rich, it's just to actually have retirement income in 20-25 years) Thanks, Jaspreet. Wow 20 years is plenty of time to compound your $$ .. the key is to get the money to invest in the right assets. Remember in the beginning of his video he said in just 10yrs with 2k a month with 10% average return you will have 1.5 million dollars. At 55yrs young there’s some advantages.. ie. in retirement accounts you have catch up contributions, so the number one mindset get started, live off less than what you make, save for rainy day AND invest the rest. If you do that consistently for 10-15yrs. You will retire comfortably🙏🏾

​@@stacyjohnson7395starting at ground zero at 50 is now exponentially more difficult. You need to do a mixture of things (asap). Set up an emergency fund (preferably kept in a high yield savings account). Get out of debt as quickly as possible (snowball strategy). While also getting rid of any/all unnecessary subscriptions (Netflix etc). Eating at home is now a priority. That"s a MAJOR factor in your finances that you can (somewhat) control. Resist any impulse purchases since most purchases are WANTS rather than NEEDS. Open and fund a Roth IRA as quickly as possible. Fund an employer 401k (min contributions to get the full employer match, while maxing out the Roth IRA). Then concentrate on your 401k (once the Roth Ira is maxed out). If no employer 401k is available, you should open a taxable account. There are great options in terms of low cost index funds/ETFs like Vanguard (VOO, VTI, etc) to get you rolling. Seek a financial professional and DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE. But the most important thing is you start your retirment planning.... TODAY. As of RIGHT NOW. And be hyper focused and aggressive. It's NOT too late. But you need to do it with purpose and remember your long term goal. Good luck! Hopefully you will meet your financial goals and live a happy, healthy life.

@@TheLatinferno yes pretty much what I said in a nutshell just broken down in detail.. it’s having a focus mindset, saving for a rainy day, lowering debt, living below your means AND invest the rest.. ie. Index funds, ETFs, dividends investments etc. i also recommend, Vanguard & a user friendly brokerage account ie. Webull you can do fractional shares .. the success formula is …“Discipline, Consistency & Patience.” I wish you all well🙏🏾

5 years ago I tried to invest I was 25 an built a good little 10k nest egg had some money in crypto stocks etc but my immaturity didn’t let me see the discipline and the longevity of it and I took it out .I didn’t start with the most important aspect and that was simply having a savings for an emergency and then life hit me. Now at 30 I understand my hubris but luckily in that time I also got my real estate license an did improve how much money I now make. Maybe it’s a life lesson but I hope that in the next 10 years I’ll make the right choices with the wisdom of having made mistakes. Thank goodness I never got into debt
