I worked in retail all my life and inventory was always done in January or February and we always "cleaned house" just before inventory. Tons of great stuff was thrown out. You should check your dollar general and pet supply stores. You're bound to find lots of good stuff in the next few weeks.

I love the mushrooms...in a pot i melt some butter , mix in bread crumbs and garlic and put some on top of them and bake them in the oven on 350 for about 25-30 minutes...like the crunch

Oh my gosh! I love these hauls! I rescued 8 1 pound packs of hamburger (96/4) grade!, 1 pack of country style beef chuck ribs, 20 pounds of bananas, 2 bags of pears, 2 bags of onions, and a few other things. But we were so happy to have this food! I sure hope we find this much great food next time we go dd! Oh can you tell us what day you do these dives? I want to go on these days and see if I have this great luck you have.🙂

We pretty much go on all days. You should find a pretty full dumpster the night before garbage day, so see if you can find out which day the store has their garbage picked up.

Great haul fd. I estimate it being $250-300 haul. Strawberries alone are 3.89. Each. Eggs r up too. They were $1.12. Now like $1.80 dozen. I love ur baked Brie idea fm. Share it with us (recipe/video) please. My Aldi yesterday actually threw something away that was expired or Best buy date exp. It was dannon probiotic drinking yogurt❤

That was amazing. You can make some really great jam and strawberry shortcake. The pork was unreal also, a lot of great looking eggs and a huge amount of salads your way. Strawberries aren’t selling because they’re over $3.50 a pound. The pork would have to be $4 to $5.00 a package. I bet you have $300.00 there, at least where I’m at. Great 👍 job, guys. Just got back from the shop them up you pop. Well I don't know the prices in America but I went to buy a lemon and they are selling for $9.80 kilo. That was one great mega haul . The only thing I find with the salad bowls sometimes the corn have a funky taste when they are close to the used by date. Hope you have a great new year and plenty more mega hauls from the dumpsters

I grew up in the 60s and 70s, with 8 brothers and sisters. We didn't have much. My dad worked as a driver for wonder bread. They had a promotion for SuziQs, that didn't go well, so he was able to buy racks of them for something like $2 a rack. We, along with my grandma, had grocery bags of suziQs in our freezer, that we could get any time, day or night! For a family who never could purchase the food my dad delivered to stores, that made us feel rich!!

I know I've commented before about our exorbitant prices here in Vancouver Canada, the strawberries alone would be $162. Oranges $36. At least $500 I didn't calculate. The stuffed mushrooms are great in an air fryer. 375 degrees for about 4-6 minutes, depending on your air fryer.

Awesome dive! I have the red bag for wrapping paper and it’s so nice. After Christmas I go to Walgreens or CVS and load up on their 90 percent off of Christmas wrapping paper, bows, cards, etc! And restock it for next Christmas. This was an amazing video, love seeing all the stuff that you guys find in the dumpster!!

we discovered you can freeze eggs know i simply put 3 eggs in a ziplock bag after i crack the shell then i simply put flat ziplock in freezer and you take out of freezer put zip lock bag in bowl of warm water to unthaw and eggs are good to make a cake or muffins works out perfectly i freeze 12 eggs at a time helps me in middle of winter

Great haul FD. You could have shared those cinnamon rolls at least 1 each, then you cud have had the other 4, but 1 a day. Coming from Wisconsin I love our cheeses here. I have tried others outside of Wisconsin and too me, it doesn't stand up to the freshness then in our state. My aunt working in a cheese factory here, we never have to buy cheese which is good cuz it's so expensive. I always want to try dumpster diving, but I havent done so yet. One of the stores down the road from where I live leave baskets of food out back, I always want to take some but police cars are always sitting watching that area. Maybe one day, I can try.
