Lifestyle design is something many people should look into - there's plenty of books on this, I moved out of Kenya when I was 18 and whenever I come back i noticed most peers didn't have hobbies and often looked up to Friday and Saturday drinks which isn't a bad thing but sometimes could be counterproductive. Everyone I know was fit as a fiddle at 17, at 31 not so much the case. I think we ought to take charge of all aspects - spiritual | financial | physical with the same importance.

@Ian-zx1cc2 ай бұрын
@wanjirumuguongo8877 hi Wanjiru, a couple I recommend are; 1. Atomic Habits - life/habits 2. Psychology of Money/Same as Ever by Morgan Housel - finance literacy in general 3. 5 am club - Robin Sharma. These three are a great place to start - I have also been fortunate to attend multiple wellness workshops which focus on this. Some are virtual so anyone can attend. There's one coming up here in Australia this weekend Nov 8 - 10, if you are keen let me know and I will flick you details and a ticket - it's virtual - just wake up early.

Tonee very sincere, honest, vulnerable with a hearty laugh. This was a great listen with my favourite line being "this is what I have decided to do. Theres no going back. And when you are ready the universe opens. Great podcast. Asante

I am now in my 20s and I share a lot of similarities and viewpoints with Tony, although we still have many differences. This interview is what I needed. It has opened my eyes and gave me the motivation to keep going. I never understood why I hate employment, yet I seem to be very promising, but somehow I have not managed to implement the potential. This interview made me understand that I am still very young and I don't have to figure out everything right now. Also, the 5Ps is the it. I am working on them first before settling down.

Absolutely brilliant insights from tony and brilliant from the interviewer to just naturally steer the conversation the way he has. I can see the calm understanding of self from Tony and I'm absolutely jealous and extremely challenged by it. The business insight is invaluable, talk about a coaching session! One question that I would like to be pose to tony is what would be the 5 ps, so to say, for the woman ? Because, even if given the world, without a structure to it, a human can simplify it to well, just a pile of rock.

While financial literacy is crucial, I believe it’s important to approach trading with caution. It’s easy to overlook the risks involved, and not everyone has the time or expertise to navigate the complexities of the market. Let’s focus on building a strong foundation with savings and budgeting before diving into trading. Balanced financial education should emphasize understanding risks and long-term strategies over quick gains.
