Pretty sure the handle is meant to emulate the classic coffin shaped Bowie handle. Neutral shapes like that were fairly common back in the heyday of the Bowie knife, remember they were working by hand with much cruder tools than we have today and shapes like the coffin were simple and effective.

I would call that handle flared, but I don’t know if there is a technical term for it either lol. Very handsome knife, but ooh that Serge! Hahah! Happy thanksgiving!

Very nice but should have been a top flipper imo. Love their designs but they really could use some bigger knives, most of the ones I have handled are all on the smaller side. Would love to have a finch I can really get my hand around and doesn't disappear when I grab it.
