Lovely looking site. Awesome seeing the Abbey and so nice that you can get close to the abbey when parking up. Looks so pretty. Roxy looked like she was having fun. Nice back door shot! Durham looked really nice and the cathedral looked awesome. Nice walks near the site. Roxy has excellent taste in walks! 😊🧙‍♂️

Yes it was a lovely site - and unusual to be able to get within a few yards of the abbey. Will definitely go back, we had previously gone on the Grange site near the A1 but this one definitely pips it if you are there for some time - thank you - all the best, David & Rachel 👍

Looked like a nice scenic site and close to Durham - Roxy seems to enjoyed it too and hope your knee is continuing to improve Rachel. Also a nice trip around Durham too, we only did a quick visit on the way home last year before we had the van. Glad to see you are out and enjoying the van again. 👍

It is such a lovely hidden gem 💎 Roxy loved it and loved taking me for a walk and testing my knee! Really looking forward to next weekend too as the site is one of my old time favourites so let’s hope it lives up to expectations

We'll still enjoy the north east and Durham even if the weather doesn't "play ball" - as Scots we're a bit hardy and used to 4 seasons in an afternoon, and with so much to see and do and the welcoming folks we'll meet, we'll have a great time.
