Finchale Abbey Touring Campsite Durham

We had a lovely trip to Finchale Abbey Touring Campsite and went into Durham City, we also have a short walk through the woods along the riverside and a quick view of the Arnison Centre which is a couple of miles from the site.
In Durham City, there is a range of shops, restaurants, cafes as well as Durham Cathedral, the castle and a number of interesting buildings.
Finchale Abbey Touring Park is located alongside the banks of the River Wear and has Finchale Abbey as a backdrop with some pitches located alongside the back of the Abbey.
There are various walks from the site including paths through the woods which are ideal for a stroll or to walk the dog. There's a bridge across from the campsite to the opposite bank of the river and woodland walks.
