Wow! Every word of this video has a million dollar worth it. After years of doing business with Chinese and broken three times and watching thousands of videos and webinars, seminars, workshops that some making it only to make money for themselves. At first, I was looking for finding out how can I do the FBA business and especially how to send the products to Amazon FBA center. But now I think I need to watch and listen to every word. It's just season three and I hope that I can go to the end. English is my second language and Sometimes I need to replay again and again. Finally, I feel that I found something. This is amazing. Thank you.

Based on this study, we emailed about 20 factories. When we narrowed down to 1 and wanted to get little details worked out with our product, they sent me examples of ones they make. I was shocked to find out that the examples are that of the top 2 sellers in our category. This might put people off but I was thinking... "Wow, based on this study, I was able to track down what I now know is the best factory to work with." They also work with a freight forwarder and I can assume given that they already work with Amazon sellers that the forwarder knows Amazon requirements." Your training is tops.

Isn't 50% in advance and 50% before shipment the same as 100% ? Still paying 100% before the product arrives( if it ever does)
@bene88597
@bene88597 7 жыл бұрын
I guess the rest 50% is payed after the goods are shipped and you get e-mailed a document from your freight forwarder a bill or something like that ?
@followmearound123
@followmearound123 6 жыл бұрын
@@Andy-ir1sj 50% balance shall be paid before the goods are shipped, but in this case, you can send auditors, to check product quality and in case they find poor quality or damaged goods, they will inform you and you can request the supplier to change those items, otherwise no balance payment. Get the point? this way you are protected, however not fully, as initially you'll have paid 50%. sometimes they agree on 30%-70%, which I find more fair. I'd insist on 30%-70%

To Greg and Gary, Thank you for your wonderful tutorials! I have a little bit of experience teaching on health topics. One guideline I learned a long time ago to avoid distracting your 'listeners' is to try to avoid moving your screen too much. When you scroll up and down quickly, the viewers are just focusing on what you stopped on when you are already moving quickly off to another spot. It can have a dizzying effect. So, again, I think the information is incredibly valuable and interesting. But, you may want to think about the viewers and slow down or decrease the scrolling just a bit.

Wow, what a gold mine! Sourcing has always been the scariest aspect to me. BUT information is power. Thank you and great job Gary Huang 🙏 Question: One poll-taker said they try to find a manufacturer who isn’t selling to their competition. Do you consider this an important concern? I didn’t hear it addressed in the video.
@junglescout
@junglescout 6 жыл бұрын
Great question! ✨ And not a deciding factor. You see, the whole idea of #PrivateLabel is to add value to an existing product, what we call Customer Driven Innovation™. This means that even if you source your basic product from the same manufacturer as one of your competitors, you'll be adding certain modifications to make it better. Hey guys, 1. On Alibaba, I notice that some manufacturers and Trading Co.'s have the following on the company profile page: "Export Mode: Using an agent" - what does that mean, and what are the dis/advantages? 2. There is a particular product that I can only see listed by Trading companies on Alibaba (Global Resources same) - what do you recommend in this scenario; abandon all hope, or work with a Trading co.? Thanks, as always!
@junglescout
@junglescout 6 жыл бұрын
Many of the listings on Alibaba are agent listings. We know lots of sellers who use agents and really like them! If you find one who you like, they can be on your team, advocating for you with the manufacturer. As for Trading companies, they are uniquely positioned to develop longstanding relationships with the factories they purchase from, so they can offer importers and buyers some value-adding services. 🤓

I plan to manufacture a product but I need to choose a manufacturer. In order to choose one I have to send a sample of my product to each one. Send each one from my country through Fedex or DHL is so expensive. Is it possible to send with Fedex or DHL the consolidated merchandise to a warehouse in China and from there send the sample to each one? Do you know a company that offers this service?
@junglescout
@junglescout 6 жыл бұрын
We don't have any first-hand experience shipping to multiple suppliers, Yeison. Not really sure why you'd need to send physical samples of your product, especially before vetting those manufacturers to ensure they work with that type of product. 🤔 It is best to send a detailed description, images, "poor man's drawings", etc. on your initial contact. Check out episode 6 of the new season of the #MillionDollarCaseStudy for more information on this ➡️ jnglsct.com/MDCS4-6

Hi Greg, apologies if this question has been asked before, but let’s say I’ve found a product with really great sales and extremely low competition, but I try a slightly different set of keywords for research purposes and the sales aren’t so great (still decent mind) and also the competition is stiffer, (this is kinda hard to explain without giving away my product but it’s kinda like you searching for plastic magnetic blocks or plastic magnetic blocks for kids and the searches giving different results) would you still go with the product and tailor your seo to hit the first keywords, or would you just accept that maybe the product isn’t that good of an opportunity as they are pretty much exactly the same product?
@junglescout
@junglescout 6 жыл бұрын
Great question, Terry! 👏🏼 So yes, different keyword combinations will bring different results --different niches. Some items might pop up in more than one search, but the keywords you enter directly affect those results (after all, it's not the same to look for "wine tumbler" than "travel wine tumbler with straw"). When assessing a product, make sure you focus on the specific niche (long tail keywords will give you much more detailed results). Consider this, if you decide to sell a travel wine tumbler with straw, your direct competition will be based on the most similar items, even if you are selling (and competing) in the broader area/category of wine tumblers. Does that make sense? 🤓
@terryearnshaw2580
@terryearnshaw2580 6 жыл бұрын
perfect sense, cheers Greg, I’ve tried all possible combinations of keywords I can think of and so far the product is looking good! I’m going to persist with more research as that seems to be the key part to all this and I don’t want to rush into things, but I’ve started to get in touch with suppliers today just so I can at least get a feel for what my margins would be and wether it’s viable. Thanks for the quick reply and loving the vids and the software!

Hi JS! I have a question regarding sample product photos. The only ones I'm able to find of the product I've selected have the suppliers' name slapped all over it. Since I'm sending inquires out to multiple suppliers, would this be upsetting to them that I'm including pics from another source? I'm good at Google-Fu and it seems this particular item only comes from one place and doesn't exist elsewhere. Thanks in advance!

You don't need pictures of your product Alex What Gary recommends is to include a sample image of the type of #PrivateLabel product you are looking to get manufactured, so, in the example, a similar type of Baby Hooded towels would've been used to give your supplier an idea of what you're looking for. 🤓 Catch the blog recap here → 📝 jnglsct.com/suppliers

Just curious but how often are video chats with suppliers required when sourcing a product? Is it a huge inconvenience to them to communicate completely through written text? I ask because I am deaf, and video chatting is out of the picture for me. I'd like to know if I should expect to run into any walls during the sourcing process because of this.
@junglescout
@junglescout 6 жыл бұрын
Not at all, Cullan! 😀 Actually, one of the best options for communicating with suppliers is through WeChat. This is a Social Messaging app with around 650 million MAUs (monthly active users) and is super popular in Asia. Hey there! I'm wondering right now whether I should tell the supplier my age. I'm 17 years old at this point and I don't now if this could end up in less trust. Should I add something to the steps in the video shown (E-mail) or does it not matter?

Great Video, thanks! What was unclear for me: how do I know the exact specification information (e.g. measurements) for my product if I just started out and want to figure out the measurements and so on for myself by ordering samples? As when I first order samples and write to my supplier I do not know the exact measurements for myself yet?
@junglescout
@junglescout 7 жыл бұрын
Hey Ikujim - you don't need to know the measurements! If you do, that's great, as it's a good idea to be as specific as you can - but you don't need to. The key point here, is just be as specific as you can. It's definitely nice to do this, but isn't absolutely necessary! :)

50 % of payment must be paid before shipment...Shouldn't I pay 50% of money after I get product?
@junglescout
@junglescout 6 жыл бұрын
For payment terms 💸 we recommend either 50/50 or 30/70, so, you'd pay either 50% or 30% of the total cost as an initial down payment, and then pay the balance upon successfully completing the production run and passing inspections. Check out episode 6 of the newest season of the #MillionDollarCaseStudy for more info 🔥 jnglsct.com/MDCS4-6

This info is priceless and the background chatter didn't bother me a bit. I have 2 questions; both already asked & one that's fairly irrelevant. 1). Gary mentioned a 'shortcut path' and with a few keystrokes, pasted his RFQ document in the web form on Alibaba...anyone know how he did that? 2). Why is an EXW Quotation asked for and not another form of incoterm, like DDP.

Google... Textexpander alternative. Then pick one that works for you. Text expander is Mac only i believe and a paid product. I have found a good windows alternative, though it is probably not as easy to set up.
@ffaubert1
@ffaubert1 6 жыл бұрын
Textexpander is available for Windows 7, 8 and 10. EXW is ExWork. It means you as the buyer take responsibility for the shipment basically on the factory floor after the order has been completed. This is opposed to FOB where you as the buyer are responsible for the order at an agreed upon ocean port close to the manufacturing facility.

Manufacturers tend to sell unbranded items, Julie. That's what you want to look for so you can customize your own version of the product. 🤓 You don't need to be located in China to find a good supplier, just make sure you have good communication with them. Are you following our current #MillionDollarCaseStudy? 🤔 We are just three episodes in, but we'll be getting into sourcing pretty soon. Join us! → jnglsct.com/MDCSsignup

Hey Denise! 🧡AliBaba and AliExpress are essentially the same things just different companies! (Think Coke and Pepsi!) It is required in the USA to have a "Made in China" tag somewhere on the product or packaging 😀#FBA #goalcrusher

I looked at more than 1000 products in Jungle scout, still could not find a half decent product. Maybe I have research for 10+ hours. I found 1 or 2 they seem okay but it looks like a lot less demand. Please I beg you guys product research is the most important part, and most of us are stuck in this phase. Couple of questions needs to be answered: 1. The product has demand and I see like 3 listing in the top 10 under 50 reviews and rest of the listings in the same top 10 are 300, 400, 700 and 1100. What would you do? 2. I see not sexy products like screws, bathroom clothes hanger and many other products, Bit I see profit in them, but I could not get people to buy those items using jumpsend and get reviews. These are not sexy products wearing bikinies and having six packs. So they cannot look sexy in whatever form and be persuaded they the best thing in the world. Do I proceed or not?
