I have been listing to David Gates music (for over 50 yrs ) sense the "BREAD" days. I agree with you. He is the GREATEST love song poet of our time! He was 62 when this song was released. I am a Great Grand Father now and his music seems to have more meaning today then it did when I was younger. I can't listen to this song without shedding a few tears. My wife was killed by a drunk driver many years ago. I hope that she will "Finds Me" when I leave this earth.... " I don't wanna have to spend all my forever without you."
