After binge watching a almost all of your electronics videos Over the past month and spending countless hours of fishing time searching a few of my home lakes for offshore spots i finally located some good spots and have started catching quality bass on them, just this week we got my wife’s PB large mouth( 4-14) on a offshore rock pipe that I would have never found before!

Nicely done. I will watch this, as well as other videos you create, repeatedly. I like how you keep it clear and full of information without bragging. Right on, George.

Great video. I’d love to see you driving around the lake and discussing what you see on your down imagining. Like oh see here’s a great point with a brush pile on the side and the current is coming down this way. So I position my boat here and cast this direction

Another awesome video Jonny!! Please please please can you do one just going through various images and pointing out what EVERYTHING represents. Just blast though plenty of screenshots. You'll often be using an image to point out something, like a stump, but there will be other interesting objects I'd love to confirm / identify. Like fish, baitfish, laydowns etc.

Man I learn a lot from your simple terminology and descriptions. I am new to graphing, still unsuccessful, but am trying this new method. Mortal Combat voice for introductions is weird

I’m about to get a Helix 7 MSI for my kayak so these videos are a big help to learn how to use it. I generally fish a muddy bottom river in 6 feet or less of water so I hope it will provide useful information in this shallow water. Also it makes me cringe seeing you moving around on the bow with all those rods laying there on the deck.

What about identifying stumps & old standing timber in heavy grass flats, new to sidescan Lowrance Elite FS. Just picked up a settings guide from the site, thanks for making that. Any extra considerations for kayak fishing? I'm motorized with an Xi3 2-4 mph for graphing no problem, using the Switchblade mount for the transducer.

Great knowledge in all your videos and I enjoy them, but seems like there was a lot of plugging for your other videos in this one.
@FishtheMoment4 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoy! It takes a lot of time to cover each topic in a way that everyone understands.I would rather refer back to past videos where I explain the concept thoroughly for 10+ minutes, rather than give a quick and incomplete explanation in 2 minutes that would leave most viewers confused. Hope that makes sense

Who makes better side imaging Garmin or Humminbird? I'm trying to pick my first finder for my kayak. Want to go high end, so I can use it on my dads boat too. Thru hull would be idea, but I hear you cant use side imaging. Can you recommend any solutions for me? I have a hobie Adventure Island with a pedal drive. It's the older style that doesnt have the lowrance transducer mount built in. I'm concerned hanging my transducer over the side of the boat will result in snags and get in the way. Thanks!

Hey Jonny, this past winter I purchased a used boat that came with a 5” side imaging Hummingbird. I’ve been told this screen is too small to really be effective for the side imaging. I’d like to know your thoughts on whether this unit is going to help me or not.
@Anthony-rp3qh4 жыл бұрын
5in is fine...you just dont have alot of screen so you’ll have to zoom in more often than not. Not a big deal

It’s a Garmin 93SV with the GT52 transducer. So it’s 9 inches with the only best transducer for it... I guess it’s the best.

Jonny to be honest these graphs suck, difficult to see fish on them while moving in a boat, noise sun etc.
