Is there a way to store the values you get from integrating?
@TheCalculatorGuide4 жыл бұрын
Not sure. Can anyone help? You can store values from integrating in Run-Matrix but I am not sure about these values given from the graph. It would be useful though!

can we find the area between 2 curves by any method though?

Nothing comes up when I select the integral option, there is no way to enter my limits.

What if the graph is in terms of y, not in terms of x? (Aka the function is f(y), not f(x)?? The calculator can't seem to calculate area when y is the subject.

Is there a way to change from decimal to fraction in graph mode while integrating ?
@TheCalculatorGuide4 жыл бұрын
I would try storing you answer with STO and then input the relevant letter and press = . If it can be displayed as a fraction it should do.

Could you do this example with the Classwiz fx-991, if it can be done calculating only, no graph? The user guide is bit short.
@TheCalculatorGuide5 жыл бұрын
This first one you use 1:Calculate mode and then use the definite integral button to the left of x. Then input your function and then the limits. The second one you would have to do as to separate integrals subtraction, so ∫x(x-4)(x+1)dx - ∫x(x-4)(x+1)dx, with -1 and 0 your bounds for the first one and 0 and 4 the limits for your second (the subtract one)

@@TheCalculatorGuide Thank you! Casio fx-991 presented the results of 7.5 area already with the function alone, no need to do the ”separate integrals subtraction”, your comment?
@TheCalculatorGuide5 жыл бұрын
Yes as I said you just integrate the first one. The SECOND example you need to do separately.

do you have a tutorial that shows how to use the Geometry part in the menu
@TheCalculatorGuide4 жыл бұрын
Funnily enough I have briefly been looking at that. I will have to learn how to use it first. Hopefully some soon if i can.

Is there not a cube button so you can do X^3 instead of factorising it for the graph.
@TheCalculatorGuide4 жыл бұрын
Just use the ^ button to input a power. You don’t have to factorise it, this was just so people could easily see what’s happening.

Hi I’m using Casio graphic calculator fx-9860Glll and after I push F5>F6>F3, the screen which can choose ‘MIX’ (F4) doesn’t show up. Do you know how to fix this?
@TheCalculatorGuide3 жыл бұрын
I have just tried the same and I think those features are missing on that model. It just goes straight through as if you have selected the first option (F1) where you select your limits, so you just proceed through to the next stage of the video. I am not sure how to fix this as such or if those missing features are available, but you can still answer the question in the video.

How can you change the settings so that when you G solve a graph the solutions or values are given in fraction phone and not in decimal form
