@@peterhammer6915 you forget to mention LD head to head is in favor of LD and not just a little bit. And for the Olympics, yes in the SF 2016 and only just. The Olympics before it was LD twice.

@@peterhammer6915 yep but you have to be honest, head to head 28-12 isn’t just, that is a big difference. I know the rivalry wasn’t only between the 2 players but is also between fans. Still, looking at numbers between these 2 players LD has the upper hand. The difference is that LD is the better one, more talent and efficiency. LCW is the hard worker, played more tournaments and kept on fighting until the end so he won more games while a bit older. Than again, LD when het really wanted to play (that is how I feel it) still had some very good results like 2nd in the World Championship in 2017 if I am correct.

No one is in the same league as Lin Dan during his era. Even when he is old, he still has a slight edge in his playstyle compared to everyone else. The closest to him but different era is Momota in 2018 and 2019
