4:22 My advice, rather take the buy from the bottom of the flag, as the market is looking for liquidity to continue going up, You catch the fake out that traps sellers looking for a breakout, those are the trades I look for. Edit: 7:51 He eventually says it. That's the trade you should look for.

8:00 You don't take the slant distance of the pole, but rather the vertical distance (the ordinate). Had you done that in this case, the target would've been perfectly at the top of that line, and would've been triggered just before the mass sell-off.

Yeah, you have bull markets. BTW if you look at some related charts in forex, you come to the conclusion that noise is not volatility. It appears with regards of the central pair, the others are fluctuating around, and that's the - real - noise. Each pair is telling a slightly different story, where the differences have no (much) meaning, so they are simply noise.

Also, volatility, is interesting, it is price instability. If there is no volatility, price isn't contested, so no great move should be expected, which is the reverse of Bollinger's idea. Also other traders like... Murphy or Weis, old traders, speak from congestion rather than squeeze. Anyway, squeeze is also interesting, but... it should occurs after volatility (logic). Anyway, volatility is price contestation and uncertainty, so price won't stay there, while it could stay in levels with no volatility, because it's like a consensus (logic). We have a new falling wedge forming on EURUSD... dam i see that so late.

can anyone tell me the difference between a demo account and live account, i got told the spreads are much higher in the live markets therefore it isnt the same as profiting same way you'd do in the demo, how do you improve trading in a live account ?

Check with your broker. I think the systems are the same.

The spreads are the same, the demo account is just fake money. Everything else is the same.

Thanks Mark, dip below seems ideal for the risk:reward. Can the pattern work on the lower time frames and is this just for swing traders?
@paulelago94533 жыл бұрын
Works on every time frame, those are the setups I look for. Just bear in mind, if you are trading on the time frame those signals are valid for a shorter time.
