Welcome back Jerith! Have camped there a few times back in the 1980's -1990's. Enjoyed learning all the history of that area through the years. There used to be some signal switches less than a mile from there on the tracks between the water tank and the windmills. The other way, towards the bridge, the tunnels had gates over them and we crawled underneath them. Will have to look for the photos and share them with you. Loved the can dump. Probably from the 1900's to 1920's from the solder bottoms and the way they opened the cans. Cool find. Also, congratulations on finding the cave! I only know of one or two others that have been able to find it. Keep the video's going - we have missed them. Charlene and Bill

Thanks for showing us all this. It’s great to see all this stuff. Love the outdoors there’s such a great sense of freedom and calmness. Your driving the right machine for the job. I’m from Ireland and living in the country and everything is so green here always it’s nice to see such a different landscape.

love the off-roading which i used to do a lot of in the UK, although mostly the muddy type which is a tad more taxing on the vehicles and drivers - just wish our scenery was more like yours, hundreds of miles and miles of rough terrain, but the trails look easily passable, until you have to cross a wash etc (remember when off-roading, keep thumbs outside the steering wheel) it just shows the lengths you go to, to share these places with us, excellent job

Brilliant video as usual thanks. I'd like to read about the history of some of these places and mining in general in the US you show us. I live in the UK, maybe one day I'll visit but in the meantime, could you or anyone else recommend a book? Many thanks.

I remember when I was a kid visiting a lot of native American places in New Mexico. I remember they showed us how they would grind down the corn or maze into pounder basically using the rocks. They also said in studying the skeletons their teeth would get ground down as well eating that food with fine bits of rock in it.

Hey man, great to see you posting again. Really interesting, educational and entertaining documentary fillum you have produced right here. Your enthusiasm for adventure is infectious. Also, how do you get such smooth footage while filming inside your jeep? Watching this makes me feel like I'm playing WRC on PS5 haha, Stay cool.

Another great journey. You can't alter history but a shame the excessive rubbish that litters an amazing landscape.
