CONGRATULATIONS LADS ON YOUR HORDE i found a roman horde about 4 years ago in leicesters and have not heard a thing since handing it in silver fibs and brooches parts of statues and rings with coins forsed in as offerings over 289 coins good luck

Congratulations guys by the sound of your accent your over the bridge in Wales I found a horde. In North Somerset last year in two pots not as much fun to dig as a scattered horde as all in one place but the excitement is the same my coins were around the same era as yours you still might find the pot later good luck

@@Miss_Toots no definitely not, they are with the museum being catalogued, then if they wish to acquire them for their collection they will pay the finder and the landowner 50% each of the valuation fee. If they don’t want them they will be returned to the finder. I hope this helps. 👍

Nice finds, however, shame you didn't do it properly and contact your flo for it to be unearthed professionally. You have destroyed a lot of history digging the hoard up yourselves in such a small area.

Hello Deborah, advice was sought and as coins were scattered we were advised to recover them and record locations etc. if and when a pot or concentration is found we would immediately stop and seek professional excavation. I record all my finds on PAS and advise everyone else to do so. I hope this helps. 👍
