Cracking Queen Anne silver Gareth and some other interesting finds. The 1912 penny has an H mint mark to the left of the date for Heaton works in Birmingham.

Nothing beats the excitement of detecting on a new permission and when a cracking bit of silver turns up as well as other nice finds it makes you think what other goodies are still to be found , and i also think the incremented rectangular plate is a portable sun dial a lovely little find , anyway good luck with the new permission looks good so far pal , nice one ATB Rob .

Hi Owen, I am so sorry to hear that news. A couple of people I knew sadly passed away in 2024, and I seen a couple people within the metal detecting community pass away too. Life can be tough, death takes us all sooner or later, just have to try to have a good a life as you can

The green vegetation you found is a lichen, possibly Letharia vulpina the wolf lichen. The partial clockface looks like a piece of a pocket sundial. Hi Peter, thanks so much for the channel visit and for taking time out your day to watch this video. Yeah Montane is probably my favourite outdoor brand, their clothing is high quality and reasonably priced. It also looks nice, which is the most important thing for me. I got both those items from a shop called Go Outdoors around 3 years ago. The trousers were £90 and the jacket was about the same price I think. They are my cold weather metal detecting garments. I'm not sure what you mean by "another following name"??

Yeah I did think that, but unfortunately its the only way to get any views on KZbin in this day n age. I spent a lot of time and effort on this video, it deserves to achieve more than my usual 2 or 3 thousand views. But it still remains the rarest coin I've ever found.. I see a lot of metal detecting channels of late putting catchy thumbnails up and catchy titles and it is to try and catch the eye of people to watch their videos. 🙂. It is like a person advertising a new business all over the place.😀. We do a hobby that is so far down the list of interest with you tube that we might as well not exist. 😮‍💨. @myview1875 that's right and there are more and more metal detecting channels appearing, and all competing for the same tiny pool of viewers. My KZbin channel is a business, and a part time job. It makes me around £200 a month at the moment, I need it to do well to help pay my bills 😄
