Thank you for releasing these audition advice videos! I really appreciate more song suggestions considering I was thinking of auditioning for some kpop companies (like ADOR or JYP) as I have a pretty good vocal range and tend to fluctuate my voice between high and low notes as well has been coached, took dancing lessons, I’m a biracial Asian-Caucasian teenager who might be able to fit the Korean beauty standards if I worked on makeup more, and is able to kind of sing/speak in Japanese and French (but need to learn more Korean). But at the same time I have a lot on my plate right now (e.g. studying, homework). I hope to maybe have time to audition and be able to sing and dance for people, as it’s something I yearn to do.

is it , like, 'all i want for christmas is you', a good choice? like I've seen idols like nmixx's Lily or that one famous stage with a lot of idols including redvelvet's Wendy singing it, and since is december i thought that it would be a good choice but im not really sure.. would it be a good idea to sing it? You should definitely lower the pitch if a song if you really want to sing it. If you’re not a soprano but want to sing the song, do it but keep in mind that you will have to make up for the lower pitch and high notes with different vocal techniques, it’s all about balance!

Normally, The order preferred of languages goes like this. Korean // English // Japanese // Chinese. And others, so I would recommend singing a Korean version, or english version of the song you would like to sing. That is, if you can find one.

⁠I think English songs are better then Korean songs for vocal audition because you can show your voice more than korean

@@UrLocalKpopStan01 that is a general opinion. And I like that you shared it! I believe however, If you can speak korean I believe you should use it. While english speakers can get in, and they have. Unless your voice is top notch in english rather than korean, I believe Korean is preferred.

Me 2 my parents will never agree but this is my passion so am doing it without their consent or knowledge and I will audition at 18..... according to my research 18 is a little too late so you have to be really extremely talented and skilled in order to be an exception which am currently working on

They wouldn't you basically will have to slack off or just quit school. When becoming an idol you are basically chosing a career in music, so it's not a requirement. If you want to finish high school you might as well finish you studies and then become an idol after that.
