when you see a wall that has no doorway, break the wall and get inside the secret rooms, one might have a diamond block surrounded by obsidian and one might have a diamond block surrounded by lava. Also there are rooms with a boxing ring that has loot at the top of it. Kill the Evoker and get the totem of undying. Like so Josh can see

Josh mate use The Nether as a mode of transportation For example a block in nether= 8 blocks in the world so if you calculate the distance in the real world/8 and make a.portal in the nether the time to travel is very severely reduced

You need to learn the enchantments more. You know what each does but you don't actually know how much they increase whatever they do, so you don't know how good each enchantment is. Also, You can get sharpness/efficiency/power to tier 5 for tools/swords/bows. (Only by combining 2 tier 4s in an anvil). For Armour the best for all pieces is prot4 unb3. For a helmet you also need respiration 3 (breathe underwater for ages, and aqua affinity (doesn't really matter, mine blocks underwater faster) For chestplate and leggings you don't want anything else, You can only get thorns and it is useless, it barely does anything and makes your armour break faster. For boots you want, depth strider 3 and feather falling 4, You should put frost walker on an other pair as it's a cool enchant, changes water you walk on (in a 5x5 area) to ice for a while then it goes back to water. (It cancels out depth strider hence put on another pair) Also, You can only get one type of protection on each piece of armour e.g. you can't get blast prot4 and fire prot4 on the one piece of armour. You always want regular prot4 on all pieces of armour. Remember prot4 unbreaking 3 on every piece, as well as the enchants mentioned above. Posted this last vid but it got likes very late so it might not have been seen. You also can't get smite sharpness and bane of arthropods on one sword, You can only have one. Edit: you also want mending on every piece.

About your map problem. Think of it like this, at the centre of the world, around x0, z0. Maps go out in 4 different directions, North West, North East, South East and South West. Also at the other corners of each of these maps the same thing occurs. The big map you have is the South East direction, so just walk off that map to the west, and open a new map, paper it up (make bigger) (in the cartography table) and you now have the South West map. You get me? Edit: Also polar bears only hurt you if they have young, otherwise they are peaceful unless attacked. GET THEM IN THE ZOO

"You ruin the biomes mate. Get out" is probably the best piece of Minecraft commentary I've heard in a while. Also, you should look into nether travel. A block in the nether equates to eight blocks in the overworld, so to spare you agonisingly long journeys, set up a network of nether portals. Also, the guys that summon the fairy things (Vexes) are called evokers. Use your bow on them, and kill them quickly.

HELPFUL TIPS: 1. If you have steak, always use that as your food, it lasts the longest (your hunger will deplete slower) and recharges a lot more hunger than most other foods 2. Keep using your afk fishing farm for xp and books (especially mending) 3. Try to get mending on your tools, weapons, and armor using the books you get from fishing, it uses experience to regain durability on your tools, so basically they will never break 4. There are hidden chests scattered throughout the mansion break some walls and floors to find them. (You can look up the possible locations online or use spectator mode [i wouldn’t be mad if you did]) 5. Get better enchants on all your stuff using books and an anvil 6. REMEMBER TO EAT ALL THE TIME SO U ARENT CAUGHT WITH NO REGENERATION WHEN MOBS ATTACK YOU

Ge those hay blocks from the villages. 1 Hay block = 9 wheat, which will get 3 breads. Or you can trade a bunch of wheat with villagers. If you got all those hay blocks, it would have been like 42, meaning like 4 stacks of wheat

There is a chance for a room with obsidian to spawn, and if you mine it there's a diamond block inside I'm pretty sure. Besides that and some chests in the bedrooms that have diamonds or some enchanted stuff I think, there's not a lot of loot. I'd recommend burning down the place to find the room I'm talking about, though. It's a maze and easy to die inside on hard difficulties. You need to enchant your armour, though. Get protection 4, unbreaking 3, and mending for sure. It's hard to get, but even a set of full prot 1 diamond gear helps a lot, and do not let it break. Oh yeah- get better food. It matters a lot. Fish and bread only do so much. Fish is "okay," and bread is pretty awful. The saturation of it (how long it keeps you fed) is very low, you need cooked steak and pork chops. They cover 4 hunger bars and keep you full for longer, you need to carry that type of food.

Max out the weapon smiths' trades and armorers too, their last trades are diamond stuff with enchants(sometimes good sometimes bad). Research about villager worksites too and their general behavior if you want to bring em back home.

Them vexes go like the clappers, they float a bit then dive in with an axe that does about 2 hearts attack damage for every hit, and that crumbling end-of-the-world style sound is them spawning, I think they spawn in packs of 3 or 4 as well

I’m not sure if you’ve done it but you should beat the enderdragon and then go to the end city and find an elytra. When then use fireworks to make yourself fly and glide thru the air.

You need to make a new diamond armor and enchant it up to protection 4. Don't wear it until you do or else it cost more levels to enchant when damaged. Get your sword to sharpness 5 and maybe add flame aspect. You can combine two sharpness 1 swords to make sharp 2 with anvil and so on.
