Hi again TAYLOR Perfect example why on those great beaches with alot of water motion to check back regularly because that beach changes all the time! Great time of year too because there just aren't many people who will go out to hunt now. But great for you!!! That lovely ocean like water churns and churns and there's all kinds of agates just waiting to be found by you lol lol!! Thx as always but if you remember that area is some of my favorites and always will be even though it's been a long time now since I've been there. It's just great fun to tag along with you. I have a Scoopy. Not as cool as yours. Found mine in the pet department at Goodwill. It has an extend handle and a nice vented spoon.I have not taken it to the beach yet as we have been having King tides and a little too dangerous for this old (81) year old. What a beautiful agate you found, just wonderful.

We just had a major not Easter up here and I’m heading to the beach tomorrow. I thought it sucked out here but it real doesn’t . We just have lots of jasper I found a bloodstone jasper with epidote I see those a lot and they take a good polish . Best of luck and I can’t wait to see what the storm turned up

That's one heck of a beauty! If I found something like that... I wouldn't give it away for any less than $100! Btw, I think the other outstanding find is a plume agate just because they tend to be found on reddish colors more frequently than moss agates

Dude we were there On the 3rd too. We wanted to go further up but our kids got hungry. We came in from the south we almost made it to 42nd or the Lester. I thought about leaving you a message before we went. I kinda wish I did, because it was our first trip there and we could have met up with you. We are going on Wednesday again even with the 1* degree and -9 winds. I leave next Friday. Haha not sure we will make it out in the cold this weekend or not. Haha

OK...You've inspired me. LOL! Our oldest son and his wife live in Beaver Dam, WI. They are having their first child in June so we plan on coming out for a week or so. (We live in the mountains in Colorado) While we are there, I would like to go rockhounding around the western side of Lake Michigan and possibly the Duluth area of Superior. Any suggestions???

I wish that spoon could talk! I wonder how it ended up there. Did it fall off a fancy boat or was some family picnicking on the beach and loose it one day? I would leave it as is, it shows it's awesome history of being in a lake for possibly a century!
