Prior to 2019 I felt very estranged by social media and blamed a lot of my loneliness on it. While I think that our smartphones have facilitated a culture of loneliness I also believe that , like you mentioned in the video, sometimes we can’t connect to others until we connect to ourselves. I worked as a fundraiser in 2019 and probably socialized more that year than I had in the past 5. I realized that what was holding me back was my fear about engaging with people and not being relatable, which wasn’t inherently the fault of social media. You just have to be intentional with how you interact with the world and more often than not other people will feel similarly to you.

love meditation - I find its about actively spending time 'alone' to figure out more about ourselves vs getting it from the external outside world. Anyways good luck!

I couldn't agree more. It really helps me show up in the external world more authentically. Thank you, and same to you!

I liked your video and I have no friends or family and I've learned to love myself and who I am and I feel good and never alone. The part about your boyfriend, what had happened was meant to happen when you met him at the bar. It was God's blessing given to you and it comes unexpectedly through your faith. Have a Nice Day

Brilliant that you've found the real in a world of fake. 🙏🏻 keep going. The bhagavad gita might be very interesting to you

You know it is interesting you suggest that because I have been wanting to take a look at it for awhile now. Thank you for the suggestion!
