I’m always amazed at the contrast between television or radio, and the super fast, talking, hyper energy that further makes my mind race, compared to the soothing, deliberately, slow speaking ,with frequent long pauses , -gaps of awareness- , of Eckhart. Instantly soothing - I’ve completely shut off the News and the radio for seven months now. Best thing I’ve ever done.

While I do understand the commentary on not relying on anyone for your inner peace, I commend you on detaching from the media which primarily focuses on tragedy and despair. The lack of that negative energy exposure disguised as "news", day in & day out, is so refreshing and has significantly improved my life. Now, I focus nearly exclusively on positive forms of energy and wisdom such as Eckhart and others too...life becomes sooo much better, imo.

Lord deliver me from my anxieties, loneliness, troubles, and pain this Christmas. As a single mom it can be hard to have everything on your shoulders. Both of my sons are autistic. I’m raising them with strength and courage, despite the challenges I face. I keep faith in you Lord even as I struggle to pay rent every month, and as I struggle to buy groceries. Every month is a battle. Lord restore my health living with heart disease and lupus has been difficult on me. Jesus please help me to find strength when I am weak, hope when I am struggling, and peace in the midst of chaos. Amen. 🙏🏾 ❤

Thanks for this. I find that being aware of breath is certainly a way of getting into BEING. I find the same thing when I am CONSCIOUSLY aware of space also. Space being infinite and formless.

We all wander...just come back to the breath...away from the mental noise...do it again and again and again. I relisten to these. It's training the mind to be still. Or like stepping away from it and then watching it...and not becoming a victim of it's narratives

I think even once we achieve awareness we drift in and out of it, we all lose and then regain awareness at times. I remember Eckhart saying in one of his videos that he does extremely occasionally loses awareness himself such as when he saw someone mistreating an animal 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Being aware of awareness is focus. There is no story, no judgement. If you think of a baby .. it is pure awareness with no story and no judgement.. just observing. The baby feels everything and has no protection.. the difference between the baby and us is experience, mobility and intelligence. Life is a theater and we are just observing the story. THE KINGDOM OF GOD BELONGS TO GOD: Jesus said “in my *Father’s* house there are many mansions” (John 14:2). Jesus always distinguishes himself from the Father. Jesus came to do and say whatsoever God commands of him (John 12:48-50; John 4:34). God himself CANNOT be commanded; He gives commandments. Nowhere in scripture does it say the kingdom of Jesus. Jesus said calling him ‘Lord, Lord’ does not lead to God's kingdom, but only by doing the will of God can we enter (Matthew 7:21). Most of the world is lost because they do not know God and his kingdom. Calling Jesus as God is blasphemy against God, because the Father is the only God (Isaiah 44:6, Isaiah 44:24). When you see Jesus at work, you have seen God's power and spirit through him at work (John 14:10). We must become one even as they are one. The same power and spirit Jesus has is the power and spirit given to him by God, his Father (John 17:22). We must know them both for eternal life (John 17:3).
