Thanks so much!! They’re a lot of fun to find. I’ll be in southwest Ohio next week look for fossils. 👍

Amazing transformation! Love the before and after videos❤ Were there any good finds under the roots of the tree that fell?

No, there wasn’t. At least, not from me just looking at the top, I didn’t dig into that area where it was uprooted. It was covered in all sorts of weeds, and I was getting eaten up by all of the mosquitoes and didn’t stay in the weeds long because I didn’t want ticks, too. 🤣

@@joedadbod8450 I can’t blame you for that. That are terrible up here this year. Can only imagine how bad they are in Arkansas!

Not much left to be found in that old spot anymore I don’t think

I know!! I was up early and did a spur of the moment trip. I just wanted to check out that spot right behind that bigger rock, and I think the pieces I found were ones we had missed from previous trips because they were pretty much all in the stuff I had to dig out to get to the fresh area. I wound up digging for 4 hours and just got about a half of a Ron Coleman bag, and not all of those pieces I had laid out in that screen had druzy on them either. Still, I was happy to go to kind of get confirmation that I should just try to stick with that rock wall with the calcite and druzy stuff.

Right off the southwest MO and northwest AR border. 👍
