Door was shut for me. I had to do the memory quest a couple times just to get the elevator so when I got to the bottom and it was locked I just moved on to E ending 😅

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Every other video or pic on this was so obscure, too quick, didn't go into the Map Mode, showed more of the "on-rails" inside part, or just straight up didn't even show the location, just automatically assumed you knew or at least had a general idea of the location lol. So, for all the music, the theme of the Resistance Camp 9S pops out in is called "Peaceful Sleep," the music in the caves is "Blissful Death," and the music at Emil's House is "Emil - Sacrifice," which is actually from the first game, Gestalt/Replicant.

Might sound dumb, but I tried getting here as A2 and the door was fifty shades of locked. Do you need to defeat the two machines to get in, because I had talked to Emil beforehand and he did mention his house

kempolar u have to help emil find all lunar tears first, then u can enter his hideout

kempolar u have to first finish the quest that unlocks the forest zone. After that, visit any lunar tears and it will automatically starts the quest :)

Do you have to be playing with 9S to get the door in the cave to open or does it have to be a certain chapter, I tried to open the door in the cave, but it was locked

Weeb Shin You need to have spoken to Emil first to trigger the door to his home opening. It doesn't have to be a certain chapter, but note that every time you chapter select, progress with Emil resets, so you'll have to speak to him again and have him mention his home once more to access it. Fighting Emil for the first time, on the other hand, can only be done as 9S.

It seems that starting the mission in the flooded city before finding the last lunar tear will lock you out of completing emil's quest (it also locks another quest, the one with the fuggitive couple). I didnt know and now i cannot do one of the most important and relevant side quest of the game, possibly locking me out of obtaining one of the finals too. This is bullshit, the trigger for the auto start of the mission was very close to the lunar tear in flooded city, i could not avod it, and how could i have known of this point of no return? Originally I planned to complete this game to 100% , but now it's over, how could i trust that in future runs the game will not trick me again like this?
