One the local garden centres was selling it off a bit back in bundles of sticks, no one seemed to be buying them so i bought a few....then a few more. My wife got really excited over my fat wood. Almost as excited as me watching KZbin videos

Those wee saws are great, I cut down neighbors trees with mine. You know I do wonder how soldiers fight with those meals in them.

I had the Spanish ration pack with squid at work. The next day my farts cleared out the entire staff room. I was banished to downwind.

Don’t blame the squid for that. 💨🌬️

Can you get fatwood from left over christmas trees? Great video as always. Ps read the metro article ft. You the other day. Great read.

Any pine tree really but the best place to find it is an old stump from an old tree.

I was wondering this also as I still have my Christmas tree in the garden.

That is not a Pine tree...they are Douglas fir...I don't understand when people who claim to know survival / bushcraft who try and educate and show their so called knowledge, when they cannot identify plants, trees etc...
@TheBugOutShop10 ай бұрын
I stated in the video that its a Douglas fir as most of my woodland is. My woodland has mostly Douglas fir and hemlock with native trees planted in amongst, i have been managing the woodland for 20 years and know whats in there and whats not. Definition of a Douglas fir tree "Douglas Fir is an evergreen tree in the Pine family, native of North America but widely planted in the UK." Thanks for watching
