Hello Lawrence, are those Tortoises native to Mauritius. I have seen some tortoise that just snap. You can't go close to them. Nyh is game. He loves animals.

All the tortoises in Mauritius are Aldabra tortoises originally from the Seychelles, and they are not dangerous. The endemic giant tortoise of Mauritius is unfortunately extinct.

The apartment we stayed in in Pereybere was fantastic. We didn't visit Rodrigues unfortunately but heard good things. We've left Mauritius and now onto our next adventure 🖤🖤
