Finding Gold At Goodwill! On The Hunt For VHS Tapes

Greetings fellow tapeheads! Happy New Year! I’m back on the hunt for tapes at any and every thrift store I can find.

My GOD I would be overjoyed.. there are so many valuable titles there in that selection.. I see a lot og obscure Horror that would sell and that top gun.... gone in 60 seconds.. timecop.. a texas funeral.. spartacus.. boogeyman would have been an instant buy... lost in space.. HOME ALONE!!!! WOWWW!!! Lake PLacid.. dragon heart.. ANY AND ALL X GAME or OBSCURE SPORTS VHS ARE INSTANT BUYS.. And of course as you know any VHS LIVE MUSIC is a good buy.. Like Mike is an instant buy.. beverly Hills Cop at the very end of stop 2.. WHat was that SEALED vhs there at TIME: 9 Minutes 54 Seconds???

I'm in Lakewood-Tacoma, WA and I went to the Goodwills and Value Villages in my area, 4 stores, and none of them have VHS anymore.

I have Ninja 3 in a gatefold cover bought when I was a teenager from a local mom and pops video store in my hometown that was going out of business in the late 1980s. I also have Revenge of the ninja in a gatefold and I use to rent these two a lot from the same store, so it is cool now that I own them. Great pick up on Ninja 3 the domination

You are so fortunate to have a Goodwill or any thrift store for that matter that still gets in that many VHS tapes. Around Charlotte, NC I hardly see VHS anywhere anymore and when I do it is very few and they are $2 a tape at Goodwill. I did find a clean copy of Friday part 5 that they accidentally put out and did not put on their site, lol. Enjoy your videos!

Come to Hickory NC Goodwills they are littered with VHS tapes. Its were I primarily hunt mine.

Very nice. I have found some of my favorite VHS movies at Goodwill. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed they’ve scaled down and I’ve heard rumors about them throwing out tapes. I think I’m going to look at more thrift stores/antique malls because those places will keep carrying them. At least in my area.
