Finding Hope Along The Journey Episode 7 - Catheters

This is not a promotion or paid advertisement. We just wanted to share our experience with catheters and what we thought about using them.
The two comparisons used in this video are the Hollister VaPro and the SpeediCath. Two very different methods. Chris was 100% dependent on me at the time we used SpeediCath, and since gaining more use of his right arm, has been using the VaPro independently.
Ours are supplied by the VA as Chris is a disabled combat veteran (was receiving benefits prior to SCI injury) so we don't have the expenses that many folks do. It is criminal (in my opinion) how much materials cost that are literally necessary to survive.
Yes, anyone that requires cathing on the daily can get very sick and die without this equipment! Now you see why it is so important to have doctors and suppliers maintaining communication to get people their supplies on time.
