for me the best ideas are coming when I "Switch off" from this world and reconnect with nature. i live in mountains small village and the best ideas are coming when I go for a walk to the forest or just seat on the terrace and listen to birds singing etc. Don't know why, how but that are the best places for me. Then I get soo many ideas that is crazy.

My observation is that the mind is better when doing things. Apathy and a helpless state of being take over the mind when nothing gets done, undone work causes stress - not doing things. The motivation to do usually comes after starting, one shouldn't wait for inspiration.

As a creative person, I thrive on the freedom to do my work, but I've had to take on extra responsibilities to help out. This has significantly increased my stress levels. I read The Creative Act earlier this year and it literally spoke to my soul. Like you said: super relatable. Arguably my favorite book of all time. I keep it on my desk and occasionally open it to a random page when I'm in a rut, a bad mood, a good mood, or it's just been a while... and every. single. time - whatever I open it to is always relevant to the situation. Best ideas usually come when you’re most relaxed. Seeking out new experiences every now and then or breaking out routine can be helpful and refreshing. A bit change now and then help us notice things that we otherwise wouldn’t. Sometimes, it seems like a waste of time to waste on something that seemingly less important or little. However, if we are always fixated on the big things in our lives, chances are that we will spend a large portion of our time dissastified.
