Dan, now you go easy on the teasing with Jane. You are fortunate that she is such a good sport with all your teasing. Better scoop her up and take her with you when you leave, then sometime from June-September 2017, maybe you two could go to (Glass Beach) in (Fort Bragg), California. You could make some really great vids there too and Jane could find beautiful sea glass, by the tons and I believe all of it is before the year 1920 or so, because that is about when the dumping of refuge, by both private residents and businesses, was outlawed. if you really want to turbo charge that machine - run it in ferrous tones (instead of conductivity) - run it with NO discrimination (which basically just mutes/nulls the signal) - and listen for the higher tones (ferrous makes the iron signals the low tones) - of course - you will have to look at the chart thingy (some people use the numbers ...I like the chart) - when you get a high tone - to see if its likely a coin (i.e. up at the top) - but - I switched all the settings on my explorer (the precursor to your machine) and - you would not believe all the additional stuff you will find....and it runs faster (this is probably mostly applicable in trashy areas)

Dr Tones like Chicago Ron pays to go on field hunts where there is old history. The coroner, from what l believe, is there with them and looks over the finds to determine if they are wanted. then they go to the archeology society. But l could be full of it.

On the thumbnail for "Craig's) channel, is a diamond shaped piece of metal that looks very much like the one you found at the (2:15 time stamp) and gave to Lady Jane, on your "Hi Ho Silver Detecting (143) vid. Maybe the one you found is the back piece for the one Craig found. His has the word NEWARK and a date below that. Hmm?
