This tip helped me find my fortress after searching forever. “Nether Fortresses are more likely to spawn on the positive side of the X-axis, therefore moving north or south while keeping the X-axis positive is the best way to search for them.” Don’t know if it will work for everyone but it did for me.

You could always use the F3 screen to display the entity count in the top left. If it is 30 + entities then there is likely to be a fortress or a bastion in that general direction.

I ended up using chunk base because I couldn’t find a warped forest. Turned out that biome was about 1000 blocks away and really small. I have bad luck with the nether this time around. Great episode and excellent bow!

@@jolantalatviete1447 the first time I ever went to the nether 3 ghasts were there killed me instantly and kept camping my portal. I died like 5 times trying to build a barrier and reigniting my portal. Lol sometimes the nether really sucks.

Obviously, you go to the warped forest to get the warped vines for making warped vine clutch jumps from high altitude. No other reason to possibly ever go there. You can also find the crimson and warped forests easily by going up to the ceiling bedrock and just tunneling in one direction forever. Since the bedrock doesn't prevent nycelium from forming you will see the crimson or warped nycelium when you are over the corresponding forests. Obviously, you can look for particles as well, by the nycelium is hard to miss. Also, if you have a silk touch pick you can get all that the biome has to offer with bone meal.
