Do you have any videos on how to get these locations? Always wanted to go blue agate hunting in the hills but it’s intimidating when you’re new and don’t know where to look

I see you finding them, but I'm pretty sure the higher concentration of them within a smaller area is located in a different location of that pit. And geodes with better and bigger crystals inside, including amethyst.

Really? Help me out?
@gemcollector85083 жыл бұрын
@@rocksfromHiscornerstone its in the mine area there, but hard to explain. If you're standing in the mining area in that little pit, and you're looking uphill, you gotta chisel into the more solid rock. Not all that crumbly shit. The bigger, more colorful gwodes are gonna be in the solid rock at the back.
@rocksfromHiscornerstone3 жыл бұрын
@@gemcollector8508 I'm confused. Next time you go up message me. Like into the vain wall of the cliff? That's the crumble, or more left in the cut out.

What part of eastern washington can you find geodes and such? I am hoping to look for items like agates, etc, as I have extra time, due to pancreatic cancer & chemo treatments. Are they found in the spokane area? I truly don't know, in case you couldn't tell.
@QuartzCowboy Жыл бұрын
These are found in what some consider Central Washington near Ellensburg. Spokane area has quartz crystals that are Smokey. Also some gem serpentine there also.

That doesn't look anything like the eastern side of Washington I'm use to seeing. I live in the southeastern part so... it's pretty barren unfortunately. So much farm land around here. Maybe more towards Umatilla on the outskirts of Pomeroy. I haven't had much luck finding anything in Washington or along the snake river. I've had better luck in Idaho along the Clearwater and north towards Clarkia in Emerald Creek. It would be nice to find some quartz or amethyst. Maybe some day.
